i joined the site a few weeks ago and ive been going through all the posts looking at peoples collections and theres some amazing stuff on here my one regret is is not keeping my star wars stuff as a kid.

I had all sorts figures, space ships and vehicles and i even had one or two play sets and i destroyed the lot in the great battle of hollands back garden ( holland was a friend and fellow star wars fan ) needs less to say nothing survived.

Who would have thought when you were a kid that star wars toys would have been colletables and as i look around at stuff people are selling i keep thinking i had that and its worth a fortune.

i was just woundering what regrets have you got when it comes to star wars collectables ?

Most things are only worth a fortune in mint condition. If it isn't, it is usually still quite affordable.
You can buy loose toys from the 80's, even MIB, cheaper than some of the **** they are bringing out today for kids.

true maybes my collection wouldnt have made me a fortune but even loose figures and ships are still worth something these days.

they were pretty much in mint condition before i destroyed them

Exactly, the whole point of toys is to enjoy them, im sure you would have enjoyed them far less if they were cased and mounted on the wall and never opened.

you can still get excellent condition stuff for cheap, its fun seeing it all again, minus the burnt bits, painted on blood and disfigured figures...but that might have just been me
