Rare loose cardbacks.....?

Yes loads!

Trilogo Madine springs to mind.

Foreign Cards- Ledy etc..... palitoys,

Lots of MOCS only have a few carded examples that also only have a few cardback examples as well. Kenner 20 Back Stormtrooper and R2-D2

LOTS mate.

Hi Mate, Lovin the Avatar..... 8) yeah was thinking this.... Thanks for the quick response. Not too up to speed with card back varients, as you say 20 Back Stormie etc....

Plenty of rare ones.

Most foreign cardbacks are pretty are and hard to pick up.

Uzay/Poch are really hard.

Lili Ledy/Harbert/Toltoys/PBP/Meccano are all quite hard to get.

Toptoys/Clipper/General Mills/Takara/GDE are easier.

Then Palitoy/Kenner which are easy to get.

On Trilogo, General Madine is hardest, followed by Jawa and then Boba. The Hybrids are all quite tricky too.

On Palitoy there are lots of really rare cardbacks, still looking for a lot of those myself.

Same for Kenner, though I know a lot less about which ones are rare on those.

:)

Thanks for that Jason, Just to clarify I was really only thinking about Palitoy/Kenner, Tri Logo cards those kind. I appreciate the likes of Uzay, Poch, Meccano and others are quite rare....

21 back stormtrooper
The usual POTF suspects: Anakin, Yak, GG, Nikto, AT-AT driver ( Han trench to a lesser extent)
offerless ESB 4-LOM, 65 back Leia, Lobot...

It all depends what you are into. I am not into the back variations 12A, B....etc. I am more into the face of the cardback, Many rare ones have been mentioned. Grant is correct Trilogo Madine is a bitch, Anakin POTF, Uzay, POCH, Glasslite...it goes on.

Here's all the different backs of the Kenner cardbacks:

thats a good site and was where i started with my cardback focus, unfortunatly i soon found that its wrong and far from complete, if your just going for kenner backs then id use the kellerman book as its much more comprehensive.

And even the kellerman book is not complete for kenner cardbacks, i know of several that are missing, looking at the SW12, 20 and 21back cardbacks alone.

i fully agree with you there dude, theres soooo many new ones to be added and new variations are appearing all the time, it would be an impossible task to update them in print so an internet/ forum page is really the only way to go to keep up with new additions, the problem with that is it would have to follow on the back of the work of john kellerman otherwise all graded mocs may well end up being wrong as that is ( so far anyways ) the definitive work on the matter. a start has been made here http://www.starwarscollectorscantina.com/t1835-visual-cardback-identification-guide-kenner although this is still far from complete too its a start.
