I don't normally start post on football but what is Rafa doing?!! :x

The number of changes each game is causing so many players to lose confidence and form it is becoming a joke. The biggest problem is he is so stubborn he will keep doing it regardless.

Our best player this season for me has been Arbeloa so tonight he puts him on the bench and we lose for the first time. Sissoko is a good athlete but he cannot pass, shoot or control the ball to save his life and Leto looks average even in the reserve side yet we have quality in Riise and Mascherano sat on the bench. :?

Hopefully we will get better once Agger and Alonso come back as Hyypia's lack of pace means we have to defend deeper and we'll actually have a midfielder who can pass the ball more than 10 yards !!

I'm always defending Rafa at work but if we are still this poor at Christmas than Rafa should go with maybe Dalglish taking over till the end of the season to prepare the side for "The Special One".........

Rant over !!

I must confess I was a bit concerned that the pool might be challenging for the prem this season

Not any more

Rafa's wasting the best side you've had for years. Your first 11 are as good as anyones, so why won't he play them?

I haven't seen any of last nights game, but I heard Liverpool were shite.
Leto and Sissoko in particular. I'm not sure why the whole team played as badly as they did. Even with those two in it still wasn't a weak/second string team.
I guess it was just one of those off nights, albeit at a ****ing terrible time. They are now left having to win at least 3 of their last 4 CL games.

Still think it's far too early to hitting the panic button. After all if we had won 1-0 no one would be saying a word, so why get so wound up over one game. If it's still going this way in a month, sure.......worry then but it's just one **** up.

You were also **** against Porto but lucky, and then there are the games against the teams like Portsmouth when he rests the players but doesn't get a result. I agree it is a bit early to panic, but he does need to stop rotating players and decide on his best team.

I don't think he knows his best team, that's part of the problem.
Plus, he's the kind of manager who changes his team depending on the way he expects the opposition to play.

The side he put out still should have won. We'll only know at the end of the season if he is doing the right thing. If we finish strongly while the other teams begin to waver then he will be vindicated. Personally I'd try to get the wins under our belt this end of things and worry about injures or tiredness only if it happens.

And that is the problem. :x

The opposition managers should be worrying about how to beat us, Rafa should just pick his best side and let them get on with it !!

His rotation system has worked in the past as we have been in May finals in each of his 3 seasons but as an LFC fan I hate to admit we had luck winning 2 of those and we lost the last one in my opinion due to Rafa not being brave enough to bring Crouch on at half time. :(

Personally if you play well you should be picked for the next game and if you are off form you go in the reserves but this system means it doesn't matter if you have a bad game as you will still get back in the side !!

The players might less tired but the danger is they will also be short of match fitness and confidence....

****ing tired
when i was 20 i wasnt the fittest but i could play every day.they should get up at 5 in morning go do a 12 hour shift then play and see how ****ing tired they get .
****ing wimps
