R 2 for me, for a start off "r5d4 where are you "doesn't cut the mustard secondly r 2 developed a character and was awesome in the films, which means I look at R2 through rose tinted eye shields

He's just way way cooler 8)

I loved R5 as a kid (still do) I remember it being a tough one to find - there were loads of R2s though - although he was a must have figure

I love them both TBH, but if they had ever done the wise thing and released a "proper" R2 with the third leg he would have strolled it :lol: , saying that if they had done so a 3 legged R5 should also have been made, IMO they should have made way more droids for the vintage line rather than some of the dross figures like Anakin & Imp dig :?

R2 (Classic) Hands down my fav little droid Especially when he launched the saber & IMO i like the side rockets in the new trilogy especially when he burnt those droids up 8) But I do like R5 he's cool & I do agree R5 has the best cardback!

R5 or R2? Hmm, i always wanted R5 but settled for R2 because he was available everywhere. God knows what happened to him. I obviously didn't cherish my R2 figure enough to look after it.

Managed to find an R5 in the early nineties and he is one of my faves. R2 just blends into the background. I can't even be arsed to finish off my figure collection by splashing out on a light saber version.

That and it costs around £20 for the bloody thing.

Still say it though as a figure R5 is way cooler.

R5. In the SW radio drama, it is clearly stated that R2 manipulated his pal to get out of the sandcrawler and sold. Poor guy.

I always thought R5 looks like a female droid or a Gay droid.
