Does anyone know of a variant R2D2 (hard dome) that only had one blue leg stripe instead of one on each leg?. I was just looking at my childhood R2 and noticed this. Its like it was never painted. It doesn't look like the paint has worn off. There was no info on this on variant villan.

Paint errors abound in vintage Star Wars figures. Most are not true variants as such, but there are still collectors that collect them, and hence they will still have value to the right person.
Its amazing I've had this figure for over 40 years and only just noticed it. I was looking at it to see if the head still clicked and noticed the leg paint error. The head still clicks btw. That's what makes my R2 more valuable to me like the other 60 figures I still have from when I was a kid. They were mine from day 1 of opening. I will never sell them.

It IS worth millions - to YOU. It's good that you've still got quite a few of your childhood toys, I don't have any
