Bought this recently and when it arrived, no plastic case - seller does state that "you receive it what you see on the picture." - would you expect to get the case ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320724379262&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

The bugger also didnt send it out for 20 days so would not recomend him in the future

Has it been damaged in the post dude?

This seller has sold some really top items in the past and us experienced at posting high end items. If it is damaged then definitely make a claim.

I can understand your point about the case. It is pictures in the case and the auction states that you get what is pictured. It is lazy of him in his description. I personally would never assume to get a.thing for free as such in an auction. It's always worth asking. He should really have mentioned that the case wasn't included though in my opinion. Might be worth messaging him to raise the point but I doubt it will get you the case.

Good price on the carded a wing pilot though dude.

I was gonna say not necessarily but then i saw this "you receive it what you see on the picture." So yes, 100%. If you bought it and he sent it without a case he owes you one case or a partial refund. I'd contact ebay and open a "case".

To be fair to the seller the actual card was not damaged although was only wrapped in a single sheet of bubble wrap.

It just annoys me that I thought it would arrive in a plastic case. I have asked for a partial refund of £5.00 and the sellers only response has been to ask me to send it back to him. I would have to pay at least £10.00 to get it back to him and would not get this back.

He is in grave danger of getting a great big NEG from me both for the delay in postage and the case

Contact ebay. You can request a partial refund through them. If he wants it sent back then make sure he pays you the postage first which will cost him more.

Cheers Pete, I have asked him for that. I have also told him I will open the case with ebay. I think that I am being pretty reasonable but we will have to see.

I think if he was just using the cases to make the items more displayable in his pictures then he would have said *case not included* - I guess I would have also expected a case to turn up.

Still was a nice deal even if you don't get the case :)

Cheers Joe

Yes, it was a nice price and I don't want to look like I am on the take but just feel that if you advertise a picture with a case then you should send it. In all honestly if he hadnt taken 20 days to post it then I might not have been so annoyed.

What a fecking joke - I offered the seller the opportunity to give me a partial refund of £5.00 - he only wanted me to return it for a full refund which would have cost him more.

Now ebay have come back with the same suggestion - so it would cost me a load of money to send back an item that I actually want - where is the common sense

Fecking neg on the way

Agree, definately should have got the case as it states "you receive it what you see on the picture." So technically you should by 'ebay law'! ;)

Hi,

I bought a load of carded figures from this guy last year and they took a while to come but i was really happy with them, I would recommend him, though please don't put him as a 'favorite seller' as i bought a ROTJ Luke X-Wing Pilot off him for £16 last year and doubt i'll get a bargin like that again with all of your hawk eyes checking his lists.

I had no problem with the figure but it took ages to arrive and the guy wasnt exactly apologetic

I didnt leave him a neg in the end but still think he could have made a token effort to reimburse me as I clearly didnt get everything in the picture
