Ah mate you're welcome, i think we all inspire each other.
Andy they're brilliant, I've never seen those.
You did well to keep hold of them 8)

Regards

Thanks mate, well next time I see you, you can have them for free. Love that Smiths competition sign it's got to be unique. Where did you land that from?

Wow mate really 8) 8)
Indian starters on me then i reckon :p

Oh mate i picked it up on eBay in the noughties, the same week i got the Star Wars Lyons Maid sign. The stars were certainly aligned for me then.

Scouring the Internet the other day, bet you'd love to land these prototypes!clash2.jpgclash3.jpg

Always wanted a Bubo especially with my team
I only read about the planned Calibos lair a few years back, made me feel a bit sick if I'm honest as that would have been one of the best playsets out there even if it was only made of cardboard.

Regards

Back on track guys

Great range of lines Paul. I'm another with a soft spot for ET, the cards being near black makes it a good match for SW

Another terrific update. Please keep them coming as they really are wonderful to see, and of course, thank you for sharing what has clearly been a life-long passion for you. You have obviously put in a huge amount of time, energy, funds and effort in tracking down everything, and also then in displaying it all! The results are truly spectacular.

Top updates. Your collection is really interesting, totally different and very personal. Loads of stuff I've never seen.

Aside the different lines, the Star Wars stuff is displayed noticeably differently to many other collections I've seen. Great stuff buddy.

You can't resist a little ET, Spoons.
I was totally consumed for over 2 decades Snake when i got back into it around '92, made myself badly :p
My set ups change like the wind Jabba, as much through necessity as desire

Here's a daily snippet.

Brilliant collection Pulsar thoroughly enjoyed going through this thread with a cuppa, love all the other lines

This thread is a belter, some fantastic pieces love all 8)

Love the Cylons need one of them in my life

Clash of the titans pieces are great keep em coming :D

Paul, what a fantastic collection! Lovely to see some of the other toy lines represented, love the Battlestar and Buck Rogers especially - as well as a bit of a soft spot for Playmobil. The Star Wars items are also of course fabulous, I just love that Lyons Maid collection, the sign tops it off nicely. Looking forward to seeing more pics!

Time for an update.
Btw thanks Phil, Stuart, Michael and Andy, it is appreciated.
I have had many goals over the years from my initial intention of just collecting all the comics and literature, trading cards and of course the toys. I feel that getting sidetracked with alternate items has kept it fresh for me.
Here's my next two teasers..

You can't help but love a horde of Sandpeople and i also started down the roleplaying items for a time.

Thanks Andy, i used to adore Buck Rogers, had a massive crush on Wilma and also loved BSG as it was the only chance i could see 'Star Wars' in a TV series :p

I was lucky to acquire a collection of unused ESB Lyons Maid wrappers from a chap that had been to the factory back in the day as his prize for winning a competition.
They are all unpunched and still have the wax stickers inside the wrappers.
I must take a close up as not sure if many of these exist?

Regards
Paul

I recall seeing a similar set of unused Lyons Maid wrappers and stickers on Ebay a few years ago. The seller had been given then after a factory tour. Needless to say they sold higher than I could afford! A very rare set though, and lovely to see.
