With all the excitement about the closed down toy shop and it's rediscovered SW stock I though I'd post up a picture of my local

Junners Toy Shop been on the go for as long as I can remember, it's were I bought all my childhood figures and ships from - it's where I met Darth Vader as a kid!
Nearly 40 years on and my daughter and I are still getting excited about new deliveries. They guy that runs it even gives us the old cardboard displays when he's done with them - our loft is full of Clone wars and lego standees :D

Best of all he has loads of SW toys from the last 10 years - Legacy, Vintage Collection, black series etc. Obviously his prices are sometimes a wee bit higher than asda or TRU but would rather he got my cash.

Sad thing is my daughter enquired about a part time job there but he was honest enough to say his days were numbered, he used to have 2 shops in the area but one has recently closed, real shame for him and the local kids - getting a toy from Asda toy aisle will never compare to the magic of exploring a proper Toy Shop.

Looks awesome, Colin. Such a shame that shops like this are now such a rarity :( They have so much magic!

It's a shame that today there are a lot less proper toy shops than when we were kids and that is because of the Internet and Toy R Us.

This is my local Toy Shop, you can't get more quint essential English than this and that is why I think it survives.

Paul, is that in Moreton-in-Marsh? Sure I've driven past it several times. Any Star Wars?

Yes Andy it's in Moreton-In-Marsh. I've not been in for about 18 months, but last time I think they did have some Star Wars Lego and other modern Star Wars bits, no vintage though.

In recent months I've seen independent toy shops close in Leamington, Leicester and Stratford. Sad times

Was down in Moreton-In-Marsh a few years ago on a course, was there for a week and didn't leave the College - had I known that toy shop was there I would have definitely spent a few hours there for sure.

Well did my bit again for small shops - went and bought another 6" black series Vader from them today (any excuse to buy that figure)

Not a toy shop but was at the beach yesterday and noticed the museum was closed. Never went in which I now regret. Wonder what's in there now...

Behind those metal shutters is 3 or 4 cases of SW 12 backs - you go buy a crowbar and I'll swear you were at my house playing cards all night :D
