What is the difference between a proof card and an unused cardback? Or are they the same?

I know this is a very open question, what sort of price range do proofs go for? Id love a Jawa Proof card, on any cardback! A Fett one would be cool too, i imagine these go for thousands? A rough idea would be great!

You can't go wrong with Max and Ben's site, really is all you need to know in one place

If you type proof or cromalin in the swca search box you can see a lot more stuff not featured on that site

Edd I'm no expert on proofs but I've picked up a few nice ESB examples this year around the £250 mark.

You can get some common Revenge proofs for £150-£200

Andy, plantman on the boards still has a couple for sale I think.

A "Revenge" proof is definitely on my wish list. What's the cheapest one can pick one up for Andy? Generally speaking.

if im honest mate you could probably get a revenge proof of a non-popular character for £125ish

if you want more popular ones or rare ones its more, but personally i think proofs are great value for money, especially revenge proofs, non-produced star wars items are great for display.

revenge £125+
return £150+
esb £300+
SW £800+
POTF £350+

but thats on a good day

Thats just what I wanted. Im going to keep an eye out for a Revenge Jawa Proof.... I agree thery are good value for money. Do they come up for sale often? Ive only ever seen your thread and a Luke Bespin Revenge proof on ebay. Went for £80... if id have known they are worth that much id have bid a bit more! :roll:

That's not too far off a Luke Bespin Revenge proof. Edd sold one on here a while back for £100.

That ESB proof is very nice 8)

I dont think proof are that rare. There are collectors out there. With draws full of them they just slowly releasse them. To keep market value up
