Proof book coming...

I had emailed Mattius 4 times regarding my book and after no reply I was starting to get really pissed off so I left a message on his RS thread explaining this and low and behold with this for everyone to see he replied on the thread apologizing saying he had so many emails it was not possible to read them all.....?

He has told me the book should arrive this week or next... Not a great buying experience overall.

well to be honest he told upfront with the pre orders that the books would be shipped ofter C7 (after 21 of april) later he said the books shipped even one week later then expected, so at the end off april, so i knew they would come late.

He shipped 400 books and the reason was that he choose to ship them in sturdy cardboard boxes instead of bubble mailer envelopes... He is doing this all by himself (of with some help of friends) after work hours in his free time, so you gotta respect that he cant ship them all within a day like a company does....

I haven't recieved my copy either yet, but i have full trust it will arrive one of the days.

He isn't amazon, he's a committed collector who has self published a book - I'd wager he isn't making a huge amount of money out of the whole thing. Cut him a little slack.

Now if you want to see a book where delivery has been 'delayed', have a look at the Star Wars Saga Museum book (or whatever it was called) - it was ordered when I was last collecting properly. I sold up, started collecting again and still hasn't been completed!

Hi guys - Mattias is making these books available to us and has been open and honest throughout. He primarily uses Facebook as his communication means and has taken photographs of packaging and posting. He has little control over shipping times. If you don't receive copies by next Friday then is the time to show concern. 400 heavy duty books in sturdy card packaging is not easy to shift.
