I actually think the remaining 3 games are the most interesting they've been for a while, even Arsenal in 9th can still mathematically make top 4 (if they can turn around 22 GD :lol: ) but there are 4 teams with a realistic chance, and 5 with a shot at Europa. Also many of these teams still have to play each other.

Yes it really has worked out exciting, I can see Man Utd drawing with Palace then beating West Ham, meaning we need a result at Leicester on the last day.
Last day fixtures Chelsea Wolves and Utd Leicester (maybe not in that order, I think Utd are away) could be interesting. It would be great for a neutral if all four sides could still make the CL at that stage.
Also Villa at WH, it would be if both of those two sides were fighting to stay up. But I can't see Villa lasting that long.

Well I know it's a lot to expect Liverpool to keep playing after they've sealed the title, but could they not have at least tried last night :lol:
In all seriousness credit to Arsenal, they had one of the toughest run ins and to take points off Wolves, Leicester and Liverpool is impressive, I thought they would be out of the running by now. The pressure is now on SFU, Spurs and Wolves to win all of their remaining games.

Games like last night really annoy me though. I would be out played and humped than give away stupid goals like that and lose. A drop off in intensity was prob to be expected once title was won as they have FA else to play for now. But sloppiness is a bad habit to get in to, and momentum is an underrated asset in football.

That VAR last night was shocking for Palace's offside goal, they need to change the rule, its spoiling the game. I would rather lose than have goals like that ruled out. Perfectly good goal IMO.

I'm on the fence with the pen, Lindelof it was, if its the same one. He takes the ball and the player at pretty much the same time and yes I don't think their would have been many complaints if it had been given, but its one of them. Why the ref didn't go and have a look at the monitor, I do not no. You see some of the pens that are given for silly hand balls, Utd at PSG springs to mind, the rule book needs tearing up and made to suit VAR.
Anyway Utd should have played most of the Southampton game against 10 men! :lol:

I agree on why refs don't look at the monitors more but the FA made a conscious decision to encourage VAR NOT to tell the ref to look at the monitor. It does make you wonder why the **** it is there if they are going to ignore it. FIFA are taking over VAR next year so you will see more use of monitors then.
As for Utd's pen against PSG, UEFA have a different interpretation of handball. They look at it that if the ball hits your hand it is a pen. Even if you are stood with your hands behind your back and the forward twats it at the bit of your chest/shoulder where a little arm is showing cos you aren't triple joined and can't bend your arms at 90 degrees backwards from your shoulder....it's a pen. The FA take a more sensible approach.

Bournemouth have Saints and Everton, two winnable games. Bournemouth have been much better since Leicester imploded for them. I could see them winning 1 of those and then it's all down to GD.
Villa have Utd and WH on the last day. I don't see them getting anything from Utd so it's beat a possibly already safe WH on the last day to stay up. Come on you Irons!!!!

And a massive win for Spurs against Leicester today, although still need to beat Crystal Palace next week to secure Europa League (or a few results to go our way.) What could possibly go wrong on the last day of the season, Newcastle 2016 anyone!?
