Premier League 2019/2020 Thread

I have asked myself what sort of supporter am I if I cancel Sky now!!! But to be honest its more of a protest to the sport in general, its a lot of money to have Sky, BT and then Amazon as well. How much the players get paid is a joke and a lot of that is down to TV money. Sky have annoyed me as they have lost a lot of football but their sports package price has still gone up. My brother in law lives in Kuala Lumpa and he pays about £5 a month and gets everything! I've got Netflix and the content is great value I think for £5.99 a month.

I didn't see the shrewsbury game but saw the teams, Liverpool were a weekend team, but 2-0 up they should have won that. Man Utd showed them how to do it!!

Apparently there is going to be a mass walk out in the 58th minute at Old Trafford against Wolves, in protest against the Glaziers.

Yeah, that'll worry the Glaziers. People who have paid and given them their money, walking out.

There are two ways to get rid of the Glaziers. 1) buy them out. 2) force them out by NOT going to games, paying for MUTV/shirts and everything else. Second option will take a long time as the club has quite a lot of sources of income, and a lot of "fans" overseas who don't quite get/care how bad the Glaziers are. First option is tricky as they can name their price. They own the club after all.

As for Pool, yeah, pish result. The "big name" players, bar Adrian, were all shite. Fabinho was shocking. Lovern and Matip anonymous. TBF all three had been out for a month or more. But.....it was Shrewsbury

I've been saying that for years, the only way to get them out is stop buying season tickets and stop going to home games. As for someone buying the club, its valued at around £4bn and there is a Saudi interest but concerns about human rights and all that, effecting the popularity.

I agree pointless walking out of a game, but will still be funny.

Woodward's house has been attacked now, disgusting behaviour, but that's the type of people you piss off I guess. :(

Yeah, no idea WTF they thought that would achieve. Bell ends

They should be embarrassed, they will though be so chuffed and proud of making their stand. Hope they all get caught, criminally charged and get the promised lifetime bans from watching Utd.

Yeah agree, I'm sure they will as well. Someone will tip the police off I reckon.

Ehhh why should they be rewarded for what they did!?

I see Barca offer 85m for Richarlison. edd_jedi WTF do we know. We thought Everton overpaid by about 30m when they bought him for 50m. Apparently he is now worth more than 85m!?

Football has gone mad.

Ohh and Danny Rose off to Newcastle on loan. Seems a bit strange but I guess he has said he wants out and I think his contract is up soon so Jose has probably decided he doesn't want him about. Still, Spurs don't exactly have an abundance of decent full backs (insert your own comment about him not being "decent").

Yeah I won't lose any sleep over Danny going, he was one of our top scorers/assists but sadly usually in the wrong net

Lol

Boy is he in for a shock at his first training session when he sees Phil Jones, Jessie Lingard and whateverhisnameis pererererereia.

I was having a good day until I read that! Why did you have to mention Phil Jones.

Ehhhh Ighalo? What in the name of good ****?!

I can only assume Utd's scouts are ****ing lazy and sit at OT watching "Premier league years" on Sky Sports and watched the one from the half season where Ighalo was useful. Conveniently forgetting that he was only useful for half a season, it was Watford, he has been money grabbing in China for 2 years, and ehh China has CoronaVirus.

Still, it's only 150kpw to loan a flash in the pan ex-PL striker. What a bargain.

Can you hear the rest of the PL laughing at you?!

So this is thoroughly depressing for everyone apart from weasel

Yes Liverpool's run is incredible, it doesn't even look like ending any time soon. I guess those kind of runs never do though, they seem to be playing much better recently as well.

As for Ighalo magiggy, who knows what they are thinking. After this evenings performance I'm willing to try anything.

That's the first Spurs game I've enjoyed for a long time, and certainly since Jose took over. Yes we had a lot of luck, but you need that sometimes in football and it's something I often feel we don't get our fair share of. In fact it felt a bit like playing ourselves, I've seen Spurs play countless games in recent seasons with all of the possession, all of the chances, all of the stats in our favour, yet nothing to show for it. Was nice not to be on the receiving end of that for a change. Brilliant debut goal from Bergwijn too.

Yeah was a cracking goal, what has happened to City? They are a shadow of what they were, why Aguero didn't take that pen I do not no! Ok he's missed a couple, but come on. You wouldn't see Shearer ducking out of a pen like that.
