Question

Is their any value to carded POTF figures
Have several and need to fund a minty start
As I am a newbie t the forum forgive me if I am being dumb
Have collected figs ships and anything SW
Now time to thin out and concentrate on one area
Carded and minty loose ESB I am thinking now have a spare room using as home office therefore will have a SW area of quality not quantity. Any advice would be welcomed

Is their any value to carded POTF figures - yes, especially the non-last 17 ones. You do tend to find that a lot of these have brown bubbles that put people off. I have also seen Last 17 cards sell for around the same price as loose - especially the Ewoks, Imperial Dig and Barade
Have several and need to fund a minty start - it all depends whether you want to collect them all - there are 6 - Gammy Guard, Yoda, AT-AT Driver, Nikto, Anakin and Yak Face that you will be paying at least £500 for minty versions - and they don't come up that often

Some POTF Carded are very Rare indeed ie Nikto AT AT Driver Gam Guard Anakin.

Others such as B Wing Pilot Leia Poncho Emperor and Luke X Wing arent so desirable

The Last 17 Range on their cards go for a fair amount

Least desirable/easiest to locate potf are -

B-wing pilot
Romba
At-st driver
Paploo
Lumat

Even so for a decent Afa 80+ you will pay between £70-£100 each...

I find this line very smart and very hard to complete due to the prices of the "big" 7...

Yes POTF 2

As I said I have collected for years and have vintage loose several carded that I have paid between £20 and£65 for. Koto Luke and koto boba. POTF 2carded
MR lightsaber s Luke anakin and Vader
Have around 60 loose figures

Have always collected but never really studied hence my arrival on the forum to learn from the masters

I want to centralise and focus on ESB figs

Again I apologise for my lack of knowledge but really appreciate all comments

ha ha - well if it's POTF2 then I know sweet FA about them - might be better posting in the modern section (althought you'll probably have to avoid the tumbleweeds)

Some of them are worth a little cash...but most are worth less than you paid for them in the store.

Never bought new

Do remember back in 1985 a local shop bit like a pound store selling figures four for £1! Hindsight is a wonderful thing ! Unfortunately bought and gave to my son as toys. Wish I had doubled up but there you go

I will keep trawling through old posts and try and begin to get some better knowledge beware stupid questions but I bow to the wealth of knowledge on the forum and one day I may be worthy!

First stupid question, ESB boba fett figure what colour paint yellow or orange ?

Most arent worth much at all TBH but some sell for a Pretty penny particulary Freeze Frame MOCs. The major too are Freeze Frame Sandtrooper and Weeequay Up to £450 for the weequay :shock:
