Possibly thinking of buying this. I know its a repro card and coin but it looks smart and I will never be able to afford let alone find a genuine one. Just to have it in my Yoda focus.

What do you guys think??

He's been really open and honest in his description that it is a repro. Figure is vintage but at least he's honest about the coin being repro as well. Just like the look of it and for only £30 i'm happy to pay that.

As long as people continue to buy repro crap.....these lowlifes will continue to make them :( Don't give him your money mate. Save up for a real one

I have seen POTF Yoda's with cracked bubbles for quite acceptable prices, I think if you can afford a Trilogo Yoda (I take it the avatar pic is yours?) then you can definitely pick up a POTF Yoda with some minor damage.

Just put some money aside for a while if you really want one :) Say NO to repro !

Im with AJ on this one Im afraid. I would say that actually £30 is expensive for what it is. The figure is maybe worth 15-20 tops but the card, bubble and coin are pretty much worthless.

I always feel that these things are worth saving up for. The feeling you will get when you receive a genuine vintage carded figure will far surpass any feeling that buying things like this will. Yes it will cost a lot of money but it will be worth it.

Have you thought of trying to find a damaged carded example with a cracked bubble or something similar?

Our very own resident ninja has one for sale for £350!

Gary's a sound guy & could sort you out with a payment plan! 8)

and what is it with these repro guys and their 'painstaking' restorations - it's like they painted the artwork themselves

Agreed, Gary's is a reasonable price! I can think of plenty ESB/SW figures that cost that kind of money. Worth saving up for 8)

I think it looks ok, for a repro.
If you're sure you'll never own a real one and are happy with a repro in your collection then go for it.
I had two repro POTF MOC's (the obvious two) in my collection until I found genuine replacements. Although the two I was looking for are a lot harder to come by.

Your collection your call.

PS, By the sounds of it though, a POTF Yoda in decent/displayable condition isn't impossible to find. Something to bear in mind.

Thanks for the replies guys, you have talked me out of wasting my money on this one. It is true that he more people keep buying these repro's, the more of them you will see on the market. And the painstaking bit does make me laugh. Prob waked together in an hour in the garden shed.

Thanks guys. Might give gary a pm, see if he's still got it for sale. :D
