POTF coins

How can you not know what something's worth when you pieced it together yourself?

I know what I paid for them but I want to know what a full set would be worth.Incase I keep them I might want to insure them.

I would add your coins up including shipping for each one and add a few hundred on top for good measure + the frame cost.

Full sets don't come up for sale very often and are normally split out as its pricey for someone to buy a complete set in one go but if you are doing it for insurance then definitely over estimate a slight bit to give you some funds to play with just incase (god forbid ) something happens and you have to replace them.

I am sure Shawn will chime in later with some good advice for you on price , give him a day or so as he is in America :)

Or go to the reference library section just below and have a read of his coin post !

Welcome fishbabe. The few complete sets that I have seen sold in the last year or so have gone in the $5500-$6000 range. Also, if that 63rd isn't a thick version I believe the silver one usually sells for around $1000, but I'm not positive on that price. Brian's Toys shows a graded one that is out of stock at $1499.99

I do have to ask if that is your coin set? It looks exactly like jimskoi's over at RS or is this Jim?

Yes its mine and yes Im Jim.

Did you get a chance to weigh all of your coins and make sure you didn't have any more restrikes? That would obviously affect that estimate.

The 63rd is a thicker one.

Im not tryin to stir anything up.Just asked a question.

Never mind.
Forget I ever asked.

If you are Jim, you had a set, then you bought another set very quickly, then you were involved in some coin drama on RS, so by all accounts you know WAY more about coins than any of us ****ers...

Why ask about coins on a forum that has hardly any coin collectors?
