Mornng gents,

I've been looking for a simple display solution for my MOCs and have found a company who are prepared to make us some shelving along the lines of the V81000 lipped display shelf here: http://www.3ddisplays.co.uk/displays/shelves-wall.htm

The shelves are lipped, 3mm acrylic, diamond polished, with a peelable film for transport protection.

I have asked for 2 options:

a. 7cm deep X 60cm wide (suitable for 3 x MOC n Starcase)

b. 4cm deep x 60cm wide (sutable for 3 x MOC in acrylic case)

The initial quote (ex VAT) I have received is as follows:

a.
Quantity 5 £17.22 ea
Quantity 10 £10.55 ea
Quantity 25 £6.55 ea
Quantity 100 £4.55 ea

b.
Quantity 5 £16.67 ea
Quantity 10 £10 ea
Quantity 25 £6 ea
Quantity 100 £4 ea

Carriage is £7.50 on orders up to £150 and free after that. I think the best thing to do would be to have it all sent to me and I will distribute them to reduce postage. I would think P&P would be around the £5 mark.

As you can see, the prices drop drastically as the order size increases. These look very good value to me!

Please show your interest below by copying and pasting the list with your username, the type of shelving you'd be interested in (a or b) and the quantity. If there's sufficient interest, I'll contact everyone individually and get things started properly.

Any constructive feedback would be welcomed as well!

Great idea Cazza :)

If I hadn't just got two cabinets in I'd be all over this. I was still tempted up until I remembered why I went for cabinets over shelves: dusting. I'm not housetrained and even if my wife would, even for a second, agree to dust my SW stuff I'm not sure I'm quite ready yet to allow her anywhere near it :D

 Yeah, dusting is a PITA ;) I've haven't got room for another cabinet, so reckon this is the next best thing at a very good price (and easy to install).
