Acrylic case's are far better than star case's Edd. Stronger, thinner, have UV protection if you pay the extra for it. Easier to display. The only down side is the cost. Hence no more purchases for me!!

Time scale, haven't a clue. Depends on how much I can save and when. I need 90 at the moment but prob going to round it up to 100, makes them a little but cheaper.
