That reminds me, I loved how the Arsenal fans were chanting "you've won **** all", in a tournament we've won twice as many times and 15 years more recently than they have. They either have no idea what they're singing about, or still think their 2004 league title was last season  Now that Wenger's finally gone there is literally nothing left of that era, sure sing that if you're Manchester City or Chelsea but Arsenal...

In fairness you have won the league cup moreoften and more recently than us but we still had to make room in the trophy cabinet in 2017, yours was last topped up in 2008

Hey that was only a decade ago

ahhh... those were the days...
I was sat having my pre-match meal at the same table as Gareth Bale that day... he'd not long signed from memory. Still have the signed shirt from that day with all the squad that didn't make the team/bench... Jeez, I may have even had hair then too!

How the hell did Palace manage that?! Fair play to them, but I can't imagine many people saw that result coming!

Yeah I'm not happy and getting worried now, Liverpool 4 points clear and they don't look beatable at the moment. :|

There's always a few shock results every season, I don't think City need to panic just yet.

The team top at Christmas has gone on to win the PL in eight of the last ten seasons!
The two that didn't were, Liverpool and ehhh............Liverpool

You're safe enough.

My mate who supports Liverpool said exactly the same thing yesterday. I actually think Liverpool are going to do it this time, just think City can't keep up that level forever and it's Liverpool's turn. I'm actually alright with it, as I keep telling all Liverpool fans it's about bloody time!

Check the prediction thread, I backed Liverpool before a ball was kicked.

A terrific away performance from Spurs today, who thrashed Everton 2-6. In a very busy Christmas fixture period, this was a great way for Spurs to start, and it moves them just 2 points behind second place after City's amazing home loss to Palace yesterday, and just 6 points behind Liverpool.

The second half of the season is looking very interesting!

Yeah, but you were just tryig to jinx them!

Just seen MOTD2, not sure there's much wrong with that second Everton goal. Only seen it from two poor angles but I dont see a huge push, no more than you see nine times out of ten when someone heads it. Looked like a great game too.

Yeah Spurs are flying, what an unpredictable weekend of football. Chelsea and City both loosing at home, I think the top 3 is decided, just not the order.

11 goals in 2 games, Merry Christmas! 8) that's sorted out our poor goal difference at least. Still not convinced top four is sealed, there's only room for a couple of slip ups and a long way to go.

The way Spurs are playing I can see them winning the league, top 3 at least I reckon.

Yeah, the way this season is going, I could see the team that finishes third having enough points to win the league in half of the previous seasons.

Also enjoying all these Utd fans who have decided that CL is all but assured now they have beaten two of the worst sides in the league.

Yeah Huddersfield are really poor, they are relagated IMO. Infact the bottom three are going to get cut adrift if they don't turn things around fast. Still a long way to go and the teams above them will have some bad runs as well. :?

Three from the bottom six will go down, i reckon. Barring a massive implosion from someone outside that group. All six sides are woeful.

I see spurs have exercised Alderweireld's contract extion. It has a £25m buy out clause now. That seem very low to me. Unless he's 32+
