ive been asked if i can be called by a paypal callcenter bod, so i can be asked a few questions...


they say ive took over £650 in the last 12 months and need to check me out for money laundering!

WTF

anyone else been asked this by them?

that's happened to me, but I just needed to ring an automated no. to verify it was me.

It happened to me a couple of years ago. I got an e-mail asking to phone them and the girl at the call centre just asked a couple of questions and told me what options to select on my paypal account page and that was it.

Never had anything like that from them, but I haven't bought much recently.

I was shocked too, but I'd bought a few job lots to sell on and fund the habit, and you'd be surprised at how soon it adds up
