I think ease of use and convenience of an email address to pay into (but all paypal do is link the email address to your account number anyway) tends to make people think..whats a few quid.

Gift For ********
Amount sent:
-$25.00 USD
Fee amount:
-$0.25 USD
Net amount:
-$25.25 USD
I agree, no point in even having the gift option no more if at either end someone still has to payjaymassive619 said:Grant said:The fees are minimal thank ****...
Grant.
I agree the fee's aren't huge but against all the ebay fee's it all adds up for a seller.

I would rather not pay it myself but what is the alternative?
Obviously they ask buyers to do this to save money but if they are charging a fee to send a gift now then there is no point them asking for this (especially as the fee is the same but you get no protection)
