Ive been thinking for years now that there are some Palitoy logo'd cards which could also have been assembled outside the factory doors, and just wanted to ask if anyone else thinks it could be a possibility. Lets name some names for starters:

Toni E
Richard T
Jason J
Arthur B

Now the first three on that list have very chequered pasts, as we all know-some with recent events. Now 2 of the 3 have at some point owned (or own) Palitoy VCJ,s which were not thought to have existed up to a few years ago. One on the list had a load of Palitoy logo back WBG,s and also had quite a few AT-AT commanders on tge same Palitoy logo cards.

There is little information on Arthur Bailey, but if this guy had the means and contacts at Palitoy, then who knows how long he was getting stuff from them? Could he have got early Palitoy 12 back cards? I seriously think this is within the realms of possibility.

Another thing id like to add is that i dont think Toni was the only one doing the after factory moc,s, something just doesnt sit right and i think others were in on it...

And before anyone starts im not discounting the Palitoy VCJ theory, i was actually overjoyed it became reality-but if AFA graded that one, and also graded fake Tonis what are we to really beleive???

I think you're wrong on every point. We have no evidence of any home sealed palitoy logoed cards to date, and we have evidence of shop sold palitoy vcjs. All you have is conspiracy and hearsay.

Jason

I bought nearly all of my MOCs before being sold a large batch of shoddily carded Boba Fetts. Would the quality of recently assembled MOCs have dropped considerably after being perfected? Of course not. There are also many MOCs with shop price labels still attached (of which I have a number) that can be used for comparison. Or is there going to be a “dealer applied sticker-gate” theory?

I doubt if the technology existed in the 1990’s to produce perfect MOCs outside of Palitoy and back then, why would anyone go to those extremes? Collectors were not as fastidious and producing perfect reproductions would have been a waste of time.

The number of MOCs on the market and in people’s collections seems to be evocative of left-over stock and examples kept by collectors. If Vinyl caped Jawas had been faked, why aren’t there more of them? And other MOCs?

I can understand your concerns, Palitoy78. I hope you’ll understand my concern at the damage that further speculation could cause.

Craig.

Err,ok Jason. Yet again your smug, arrogant attitude rears its head. In your eyes you feel you are the judge and jury with anything Palitoy related which i think is total bollocks. I could well say the same about your Toni affected cards list, you dont know what there was, or how many he had so lets not go throwing the word conspiracy about. A handwritten note is all we have. You seemed more interested in getting on TV and looking the apparent 'Palitoy' expert rather than be concerned and im not the only one to think like that-and thats the truth. You are a self proclaimed 'expert' no more,no less.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the reply.

My theory is that as some unused ROTJ cards were being sealed up until recently, whats to say no other cards were? Again its only my own opinion, but im thinking some may have slipped the net. The Palitoy VCJ was not seen for years and two suddenly turn up in shady collectors...

Eh now guys, you might not see eye to eye but lets not get too personal on this one please.

Sorry Joe,

Im just bloody sick that the P word cant be mentioned without something being overturned. There are many collectors who have Palitoy knowledge and i find it highly disrespectful that many are often told they are wrong by these 'experts' . I put a thought out there, and its my own thoughts. Even Frank and Craig put decent replies and sensible ones at that. As some have collected Palitoy for years, so have others-im just asking that self proclamation is left at the door.

Was asked by swfuk members to participate in fake Britain, and I did with reservations before hand which have since even met.

If I'm smug and arrogant, what does that make you? I was told what you wrote about me on RS in the Facebook thread before you quickly deleted it. You are the one with the issues. How many collectors have you threatened with physical violence over the years? Frankly with behaviour like that you should have been banned from the forums years ago. Yet here you still are, spouting crap and scare mongering.

What??? Firstly, i was asked by a mod to delete what i wrote.

Physical violence??? Thats a new one to me - never threatened violence to anyone. Ive had my run ins with perhaps 5 people over the years, none with violent threats.

Im spouting crap and scare mongering ??? So you are not with your list? You got caught out with a 65 back Fett after saying that only 45,s were affected didnt you?

This thread was purely asking a question, but your response doesnt do that.

It's a fair question and I don't see the harm in debating it. Personally I don't think we'll ever know the full truth but if other names on the list were producing these then I think TT's response would have been a lot different from what we got.

Two options here:

1) I can delete the thread and we can pretend it never happened

2) I can delete the naughty posts and we can let the discussion continue

You have 5 minutes to decide Gentlemen!

Delete the naughty posts and if anyine thinks its worth carrying on please do :)

To be frank I'm fed up with lee and his issues lashing out at people who disagree with him. And the rest of the community ignoring it or trying to sweep it under the carpet like you are doing here.

As im fed up with you Jason. You are exactly the same, except you reply sarcastically or smug.

Lock it Joe.

No use in this.

I wouldn't like to get rid of the opening question, it's a fair one.
I don't want to live in a censored world either. Let it play out Joe.

I don't think anything that naughty has been said - I'd let it run too Joe

For what it's worth I have seen and held one of the palitoy vcj's and I am convinced that it was the real deal . It had all the characteristics of a genuine mint on card and the seal looked good to me.

Nothing anywhere near as bad as the legendary ..... "you sir, are a tool."

Never get over that vile statement.

Getting back on topic, lee mentioned the 65 back fett as being faked by Toni. Joiner bought one to ff4 last Xmas. No photos were taken of the back of the card and my guide needs this proof to he included. Joiner has said he will bring it to WLFCC for me to look at. If it is a 65 back then it will go on the guide. I already have pictures of it and genuine tri logo and rectangular bubbles for that card.
