Palitoy display stands

HI, Just wondering if any one knows anything about these, I don't remember ever seeing any over here but found this add on the bay.

It was an auction that caught my attention through another collector too Scott, it's a very cool advert and I hadn't seen it before. Palitoy did some really cool advertisements for mail aways, the artwork is awesome on this (the ESB/Hoth theme is very cool) and I am still trying to work out if the R2 in that ad is a real figure or not He looks so much like the 3 3/4 figure!

Ye its a pretty Awesome Flyer Joe and I'd never heard of the display stands over here before and I've not seen any since I started collecting again, I asked Paul about this on TIG and although he has one of the flyers he couldn't tell me anything about the stands. If these where available as mailers from ESB then some would have survived wouldn't they? Has any one else got one or ever seen one here in the UK?

That's really cool, I didn't think Palitoy ever ran a promo or made available the Arena Figure stand set in the UK? Can't recall seeing a Palitoy EB carded figure with the offer on. Really interesting piece.

There are defo Kenner tho not palitoy well the one i have certainly isnt anyhows

Hi Liam, great find mate. Does yours say Kenner on it, I was asking because I couldn't see it in the pic Doomseeker posted.

Yes the instructions are Kenner with the Cincy Ohio address and a "we really do care" message

Thanks Liam, maybe they where Kenner that got sent out, are your instructions the same as Doomseekers pic, is the Kenner logo on the reverse?

Yes mine are the same as Garys (doomseeker) The keener logo is on the reverse

I could post some close up shots of my instructions if you like
