Thanks buddie, I'd still b a long way off from completing if it wasn't for you Lee! Thank you so much. Just wish I held on to that beautiful graded 30 back Imperial Commander, then I could trade u for ur 45a Luke Hoth!

You know what Jon I probably would have done a swap as well.

Not now though mate

Congrats on completing the run.
Took me seven years to complete my set, so a year and a half is some achievement.

Thanks, had a bit of luck with the timing of the 'credit crunch'. That caused a couple of guys to give up their collections otherwise it would have taken me a hell of alot longer no doubt!

Those are amazing. WoW. I like the big head little head hans. Thats some dough. I also like the X-wing luke.

Fantastic news Jonathan

Always great to see any Palitoy collection, for me as an observer, a complete run just makes a limelight that little bit extra special (like Gary's 30 back a & b run, awesome!).

Jealous lots, but inspired in equal measure. Just shows that it is still possible for the rest of us to at least strive to emulate your success, well done!

Can't believe you have managed to complete your set in such a short space of time, I 've been collecting for ages by comparsion and not even made a dent in my SW Palitoy wants.

Did you pick anything up @ Memorabilia?

Stunning collection!!!!

BTW, is that the same William Frost that dabbles in the odd Mego or two as well?

If so, say "Hi" from (English)Paul

I think that's a subject of continuing debate.

Jason
Maybe I should have been a little less factual :D
I'd love to think there is one out there somewhere. Certainly from what I have read on the internet ('cos it's all true on the 'net  ) they didn't exist.

You Palitoy collectors are going to go mental if one turns up

People have been arguing over the Palitoy VCJ for a long time lol, I even pulled a thread from 2001 where people were still rambling about it existing or not over on RS.

I would love to see it proved true, I mean if Meccano had one why not Palitoy :D

Brilliant set Junkie - I'm also amazed at how quickly you put that together. Well done 8)

Cleaned up this trade ad...if ya need it .

The 12 back Palitoy Vinyl Caped Jawa, that is an interesting one! Most collectors are in agreement that it never existed. You always get a few people that swear they had the VCJ as a kid over here and maybe they did but they could have had kenner import examples. I certainly remember having a few Kenner imports as a kid during the Empire era so who knows? However rumour has it that about 3 sales samples of the Palitoy 12 back Vinyl Cape Jawa in the hands of company reps existed! A few years ago as a few of u know a carded example surfaced that looked perfectly original, some key guys had a good study and could not fault it! I have a good picture of it myself and it looks totally right 2 me too. Unfortunately the guy who had it is notoriously untrustworthy in this game so that doesn't help matters! However I think he did sell it for 6 or 7K! I suppose if that piece went 2 AFA for a full investigation and received a grade it could b respected as an original example. The debate continues........

Thanks Vernon, that's quite a vast collection of carded figures u got urself! V nice looking 12 back Palitoy Luke! I am now looking at Palitoy logo Empire carded figures.
