Palace Blaster

hi everyone,

Recently I picked up a collection of figures and accessories. All other accessories which came with the lot are original.

I am unsure with this Palace Blaster. It seems like it has been painted with silver and gold paint awhile ago.

is this Original or repro??

looks original to me mate it has the spot on both sides and the cross hatch pattern on the grip.

I agree with Stubbs that it looks like an original blaster but I've never seen one that looks like that.
It looks like it's been painted silver?

Agreed, it looks good to me. I would suggest using some methylated spirits or isopropyl alcohol and old toothbrush and you should be able to clean the paint off without damage to the blaster.

Thanks for the tips, I am going to try and remove the paint with your methods.

personally I would use r/c nitro fuel with an ear bud to remove the paint.

My advise would be Just try a hard tooth brush and some washing up liquid and elbow grease and persistence before using any chemicals.

Hopefully that will be enough if not revert to the other suggestions.
