Happy days, there's something new in this thread! :D

I don't really know anything about this particular Action Man but it looks pretty amazing to me and love the box it came in.

Any info appreciated and nice to see.

Thanks.

Tsukuda bought the rights to sell Action Man from Palitoy in 1984.
Tsukuda used the 1978 Eagle Eye body and its own uniforms.
There are fhree types: Green Beret, USMarine, and German paratrooper.
They come boxed and the uniforms were also released on cards.

Hard to find now. The German being the most sought after.

Here is a photo of the back of the box for us Palitoy fans:

Great info so thanks for writing that up. Interesting that someone bought up the rights and now those are quite hard to come by, how little we knew back then.

Love the outfit on yours as well.

Ian

Thanks, but i read the info online and pretty much passed it on here.
I found a couple in a shop in tokyo.
I didnt know much about them so did some research.

Got hold of a couple of LCD games, Bank Raid I bought a few weeks ago but forgot to post it up here so i'm posting it together with this new game I got last week, Sea Battle which is a Tandy branded game ( man I used to love my local Tandy's ). I remember going into Tandy's with my dad and buying that game for my 9th birthday with money my nan gave me, I remember the game cost £5 which was the cheapest one I remember seeing inside the glass counter display at the till.

Love seeing these old retro games, I have a snes that I need to hook up to the new TV and try and find the original Starfox game, bloody loved that would love to play it again.

Finally managed to pick up the weapons to complete He Man, now need to decide how I put them in the moc for display, I think they originally were in a little plastic bag in the moc, will have to do a little research and play around with it.

Starfox was amazing ( or Starwing for the UK version ), that was the very first game I ever played on it and was blown away by the graphics.

Well done completing He-Man, just looked at mine and the weapons are in a heat sealed bag behind the figure, same with Skeletor his sword is behind the figure in the bag but the staff is loose and in front of the figure. Also don't know if you know about it but the figures are also weirdly standing inside an open clear bag which comes up to the knees, like they're standing in a sack, might be something you'd want to replicate that new look with.

Yes, think I will display with weapons loose for now, trying to replicate exactly using vintage components will be a nightmare, happy with it if weapons are loose. Yes I noticed the "sack" plastic bag, again think it will be too much to try and source.

Starfox, will have to try and get it for snes, that will be a blast from the past

You could probably get one of those grip seal baggies and cut the seal part off, and then seal the weapons inside using one of those Brevell toastie machines just to seal the edge off, should look almost like the real thing then. :)

Lovely stuff, I think those ReAction figures, and the card art, are fantastic.

Continuing the retro games theme my latest pick up is this Japanese SoulCalibur for Dreamcast to go with the other bits I've got.

Updated my CHiPs display since I last shared it here. Added a patrol car and a custom Baricza along with autographs from Ponch and Jon themselves (met them at a local convention).

CHiPs was my favorite TV show growing up.
