Other Vintage Collections

On the subject of other collections, I just have to say that the strangest things rocket in value.

Bought a replica model of the Plymouth Fury from the film Christine, must have been back in 2007/8 for about £25. Been looking on eBay recently and they are on for about £100+

Mine is now listed MIB with a start price of £75. Not particularly attached to it so what the hell :)

Get the proceeds from that and spend on vintage 8)

...just had an offer for the asking price!

Toys are great :D

Here are my fisherprice adventure people
I owned these figures as a child except my astro pilot was blue.
I love the style and packaging of the figures and they worked well with SW figures.

Love those Fisher Price figures, those were the first action figures I remember having and used to play with them in the bath. I also have the two green ones and Clawtron as well as a couple of space ships and like how the packaging is quite small up to Star Wars card backs.

Great condition and really nice to see :D

Thanks Ian, I had been on the look out for these for sometime so
really chuffed to find them  I do vaguely remember seeing
these figures in the toy shops (on a much smaller rack than the SW)
X-ray woman has a cracked bubble but I can live with that... For now

Those figure are a blast from te pat - I haven't seen them since I was a kid. Great set!

They're brill 8) Is that a complete set, or were there more? I seem to remember one of those black helmeted guys with normal hands.

No there are plenty of different sets from divers to dune buggy drivers
There are a few more space figures too, you say you remember the guy with the black
helmet but with normal hands? Possibly because fisher price would reuse some of the
moulds for other figures (sound familiar ?)

Ah, that makes sense! Ta ;)

Its been quiet on the Star Wars front recently but Action Force has filled some collecting holes:

Its also considerably cheaper than Star Wars as well, which is nice.

Been slowly collecting these M.U.S.C.L.E. figures with my 7yr old as he showed some interest in them. Used to have a few of these as a kid and loved them. Only another 180 odd left to go

The thermos tin is a little beat up but still great images. space 1999 was one of the strangest shows I remember watching growing up but I did love those eagle spaceships. I also seem to keep buying from the reaction line and as I don't have any aliens from the vintage Star Trek line I couldn't pass these two new ones up. I've ordered the Flash Gordon set of figures as well from the 80's film as this was also a line of figures I would have loved to see back in the day.

I really do need to stop buying these new mocs but they keep making ones that I'm attracted to ( damn them!!). I just hope they release some Blade Runner ones at some point as they really would be the ones I'd go for over all the rest.
