Oooh! Nice Well of the Souls. Selling it?

Liking the Alien characters as well ...and Toht! Amazing condition

I'll post up my map room soon and keep you in mind if I ever do think about letting go of the Wells of Souls set.

Ian

Couple more pics. Fairly nice Map Room with box and inserts although missing the tiny book. Very doubtful I'll ever find one of those but at least everything else is there.

I could quite easily get into putting a set of vintage Indy together but must resist!

Does anyone collect Thunderbirds ? Are they something that has a collectable following, I see the mocs from time to time, local antique centre has them, along with Stingray and Captain Scarlet. Quite like the captain Scarlet ones.

Couple more pics, I've got Gracie Law tucked away somewhere and also thought I'd put one up of my new Palitoy Logo sent from Iain, nice one!

Never ever seen those BTILC cards. When were they released?

That Dukes of Hazard wind up takes me back. What were they called?

The Big Trouble card backs have only recently come out through Reaction/Funko with a whole lot of other retro style lines that they've done and are doing this year (including The Karate Kid and Gremlins later this year!).

The General Lee is a Wrist Racer made by knickerbockers. It came with a plastic shell attached to a strap that you put around your wrist. They also made Finger Racers and Penny Racers of the general Lee back in the day.

Ian

Wrist racers. Remember them! :D

Some modern is well worth picking up. I reckon the BTILC will rocket in value, same as The Goonies figures you could buy not that long back.

Great figures!
I was obsessed with karate kid so had all the figures and I had bravestar aswell, I really liked the way he was made, moves and bits that came with him, I think mine came with crystals that I lost within minutes

Love those Karate Kid figures, I have a few of them myself although I don't remember them in the shops as I was probably a bit to old for them at the time. I'm getting a set of the new reaction ones when they come out next month as I really like the 3 & 3/4 scale for some reason…...can't quite think why :)

Great thread guys.

See if any of the real oldies among you remember these. Before I'd seen Star Wars (pre 78, I would have been about 5), I loved Batman, mainly because of the repeats of the 60s Adam West show. These weren't really figures as such, but there was a range of pencil tops that included Batman and Robin that I bought at my local newsagent that to my 5 year old brain were as good as having Batman figures. A few years ago I remembered these distantly and tried to track some down.

Turns out they were issued in 1977 to Henbrandt under licence from DC Comics, and there were 6 in the set - Batgirl, Superman, Batman, Robin, Shazam (Captain Marvel) and Supergirl. Here's the first set I found:

After that, I was lucky enough to find the box that they came in, along with a few more:

Took me quite a bit of research and time to track them down, although they weren't really expensive in the end. Ring any bells for anyone?

Cheers
