Yeah that video's great! :)

Problem with those ones (Luxeons) is they're expensive. Yeah you can use them to hit people, but is it worth that much?

The blade's also removable, did you know? And you can get replacement blades they're like $30. The problem isn't damaging the blade, it's damaging the LEDs in the Force FX blades. The Luxeons light up with a bright light in the hilt so there's nothing to damage.

These one's cost me a total of Ã'£95. Ã'£45 for Anakin ROTS and Ã'£50 for ESB Vader.
Angel, are they the luxeon ones that you have or the vanilla MR?

Mine are just Stock FX. I can't afford the flashy ones :P

Although I was looking at a nice Vader ESB Luxeon but it'd cost me Ã'£100 and I don't know if they ship to the UK, then it would cost more on that for customs.

You can get kits to convert stock FXs to Luxeons but they're kinda complicated, I'd prefer to get it then have someone experienced install it.

Where did you get the Vader one from, Angel?

I am tempted to get a Luxeon Vader one as i do want a Vader Saber so for the extra i might give one a try. I like the idea that you can also display the hilt separately 8)

The only issue with the luxeon ones is that the blade doesn't normally power up like the MR ones do. I think there are some with a special circuit board in (a corbin board or something like that) that simulates the power-up though and apparently works pretty well.

I have a few collections so bear with me....

My first is a collection of 18 weird looking Japanese dolls called "Pullip" (yes, hence the username!). They are expensive little buggers, limited to 1000 per doll so you dont actually lose money. Havent got a pic of them all, they are packed up at the moment as we are selling our house, but this is one of them and her name is Mitzi.

I also collect Rock memorabilia (especially The Darkness and My Chemical Romance), I have an enormous collection of original polly pockets that fill a 36" TV Box!!! Some Freshly Caught Fairies and a few Bad Taste bears.
Im a rotten hoarder.

Nice collection man, I collect comics but mine are all modern and I don't have nearly as many as you :o

I took some more pics of my collections last night:
Got some new shelves so I could bring older stuff out of storage. All of my Marvel Legends are still boxed up and a few of my Street Fighter figs. My Batman stuff is all in storage.

freshly caught fairies are more my daughters thing, but they are rather cute. Basically its a fairy in a Jam jar, but they are all from different parts of the country and relate to the folklore, like cornish pixies and Irish Leprechauns etc

wots this quick bid thingy?? is it a sniper program? or a proper ebay tool?
its a proper ebay thing but instead of hitting place a bid and then confirming it the quick bid opens on another screen and you place bid directly on that but as i thnink its run by java its not completly reliable
