I just got an amazing gift for my Birthday through the post from Chris and Shawn which fits my RGB collection perfectly, Euro signed sample Venkman!

Mega shocked by the generosity of two very good friends and super happy with my new addition to the RGB collection! Thanks guys!

Thanks Nick!

I had a bit of luck in the RGB pre prod/sample dept just recently, apart from this amazing (and super rare) euro sample I have a really nice pre prod figure in the wings :D

Will update when it arrives!

Great stuff Joe, I regret selling my RGB figures.

Here's a little collection I've been putting together recently, these are original Australian Daybills of some of my favourite films. They're fairly cheap surprisingly enough for vintage posters. The one I would love to get the most is Mad Max ( Road Warrior to our American members ppfft! ) But they regularly sell in excess of $400 so I won't be adding one of them any time soon.

Cheers Ryan

Awesome Ryan! Some really memorable films there too, I loved short circuit, spaceballs and back to the future!

Super excited about this figure, so happy to own it!

It's a hand painted first shot Ray Stanz fright features figure, it has no markings and completely different paint applications to the production figure, it also came with a pre production weapon accessory!

There are so many differences between this and the production version that the pictures don't do it justice!

-Different skin tone
-Different eye paint applications
-Ghost logo on the chest is in a different location
-Completely unmarked (no COO/dates on the back of the belt)
-Colour of the paint used for the uniform is different, especially the boots and gloves
-Gloves have been painted completely Grey (production figure has a gap between trousers and boots)

Just two Fright Features figures to go to get all four in some kind of pre prod form! Almost had an Egon recently but price was too high!

Love it Joe, very nice addition to your RGB collection. Are the first shots and proto's easier to come by than Star Wars ones?

Not easy to come by at all, it took a lot of networking and a bit of luck to get a chance at the ones I have so far. The good thing about non SW protos/pre prod items though is that they are a lot less expensive!

Cheers Chris, will eventually do a group shot sometime later this year!

Dave - I do love GB as a whole franchise but for the moment only RGB has my interest, nostalgic compulsive collecting disorder :D

Don't tell me you have a working proton pack you want to flog?

And a pre production RGB piece at the less interesting end of the spectrum:

Might not look like much and it is basically just a production Screaming Heroes Winston figure but it is a genuine Kenner EP (Engineering Pilot) and was marked "A" on the sole to most probably designate which test piece it was. Has extremely strong provenance and while it isn't amazing to look at I was very pleased to acquire it in a recent deal!

Yeah he is a bit :o isn't he :D

Reminds me of 2-1B without his mouthpiece lol

I am aiming to get some more pre prod stuff for RGB and then hopefully work on a little display/group shot, till then it'll just be piece by piece, there aren't too many sources for these items and it can be hard going finding anyone that has stuff like this for sale so not sure when I will get the chance at some more goodie!

Also it also seems RGB has gotten a bit more interest lately so prices might start going up which isn't a good thing for me!

Whilst on non Star Wars preproduction, check this out!!!

Amazing group, I am speechless that they turned up on ebay!!

Wow cool, there has been a LOT of LJN stuff coming from that seller, unpainted hardcopy Thundercats parts etc, really interesting stuff!

What an ending price too :o

Yeah the Bengali weapon is damn cool! I suppose it works out at about £700 each, which seems damn good to me, especially as it contains four unreleased figures. Im glad I didnt see it when the auction was live

They're cool. So were they ever released? I've only ever seen the Raiders of the Lost Arc figs.

Blimey! Reasonable asking price. :o
The thing is, with GBs, the only MOCs (general release) that are really worth anything are the first 4 plus the Marshmallow Man. Reckon you could ask 100 each for them at the very top end. Everything else is basically a £15-25 moc. Correct me if i'm wrong.
That basically makes this lot worth around a grand. At best.
I would love to know what that offer was.

£100 for the first 4 is very top end, I think. You should be able to pick them up for £50-£60.
Spot on with the others. Slimer can go for a decent price. Also, there so big! Much harder to display than SW.
Similar to the modern SW toys, they bought out far to many varients. Fright features, super fright features etc.
The offer price would be nice to know. Needless to say the seller would have disapointed :)

£25k / 77 items = £324 each! Extremely optimistic there!

It's a great collection no denying it and it is great to see such a complete collection all in the one place but he is smoking something if he thinks anyone would pay that amount! He should be trying to sell it under market value in bulk not 10x over lol

Got these in a trade on TIG, looks great, but they are a bitch to stand up straight, might need some stands... :P
Excuse the crappy pic, my camera can't handle poor lighting... :P
