Another childhood Turtles item arrived today, takes me way back to when I was absolutely ****ing turtles mad, going around wearing my Turtles t-shirt and with this watch on thinking I was a badass.

That's fantastic - I never owned any as a kid but I've got a real hankering to get the turtles figures at the minute

Thanks, it was great getting one as a kid it was such a cool novelty with the flip up cover on it. The figures were just awesome though, can still remember how excited I was opening them on xmas morning, think I carried a couple of them around with me for days. Beebop and Rocksteady were cool too.

I have a MOC Donatello but also want to eventually get a Foot Soldier at some point.

Really chuft with this new arrival today, stunning condition, this completes the run of 3 MOC's I wanted for my small collection, Prince Adam, He-Man and the 'lord of destruction' himself. :)

Great looking Skeletor example Subzero and it sounds like a nice 3 figure moc run you've put together. I have a few loose figures but have always liked the look of the mocs.

Also a nice retro console collection you have there Carl. I dusted my Gamecube off the other day and my boys have been really enjoying the OT Lego Star Wars trilogy recently. They just have ESB to complete before they move onto one of my other old games I'm sure. Gamecube seems to be quite a well liked console and I don't ever see any games for sale in Charity shops anymore so I get the feeling there's a lot of love for them.

Very cool skeletor Subzero. Was a big fan in the 80's and had a nice little collection, when i got older my mum handed them down to my cousin

My eldest is only 4 so he's still loving bowling on the Wii. I've recently added a PSP so I'm trying him out on that as well. Build him up to Baldurs Gate and Soul Calibur

Thanks, that's a large part of what I love about MOTU is the packaging artwork, it has to be my favourite of all toys ever.

That sounds like a nightmare!, sounds to me like you have an excuse now to relive it and build up the collection again. :D

Found a spare empty box for my used Battle Cat and resealed it, even added the exact same type of elastic band around the helmet wrapped around in the exact same way the factory applied it to replicate that new look. Looks great and does the job at a fraction of the cost compared to if it was sealed new. 8)

Love the artwork on these boxes!

Where did you manage to pick that bix up from, its is fantastic condition?

It was on ebay.com in auction, it actually had a slight tear from whoever originally opened it, on the front of the box on the left side next to the window, but I managed to stick it all back down with pritt stick and looks pretty good. Apart from that it was in real nice condition with the tear being the only bad thing about it, it even came with the original warranty slip inside it. :)

Cheers i'm really happy with it, just after a Panthor box now for that figure, but apparently they're even harder to find in good condition than the Battle cat boxes so i'll have a bit of a hunt on my hands. I suppose it makes it all part of the fun of collecting though. :)

Great Battle cat, looks the business in the case and great job resealing him, you're a man after my own heart with sourcing the correct elastic band ect, it's how I always went about my SW reseals.

Best of luck hunting down the Panthor box, it's always a bit of fun looking for things and I think we'd all get bored pretty quickly in this hobby if we stopped thinking of things that we need to look for.

Thanks, haha that damn elastic band, took me all day to find on ebay, I had to sift through hundreds of different ones. It had to be a specific colour, not too red not too pink but somewhere in between, flat shaped elastic which had to be a certain width, and long enough to wrap around the helmet enough times like the original but not too long so it's not wrapped around too many times, OCD is not the word.

The wait definitely is worth it, acquiring everything you want overnight there's no fun in that and iv'e found the more I buy in a shorter space of time the less appreciation I have for it all. Slow & steady and patience is the key, then when you do finally find that piece or accessory you've been waiting for in the condition you had in mind it makes it all worth it. :)

A few pictures of my Palisades Muppets collection figures - playsets are there too but obscured a bit on the bottom shelf by the plush's

Yeah since I was a kid so when this line came out many Endor moons ago it was something I had an immediate interest in. There's still a few bits to get my hands on but kids coming along have put a (temporary) hold on getting them.
