Original Chewbacca head sells as part of Dreier Collection

Hi guys,

Joe again. For those who haven't seen, I posted in the introduce yourself bit.

Anyway, a mammoth sale of Star Wars and generally all the most awesome film memorabilia happened on the weekend. It featured some really excellent stuff from the films and one of the original Chewbacca heads featured as the top lot (pretty remarkable considering the things in there).

I wonder how much that went for ,, they usually reach anything between 1.3 and 3.5 million .

Me too, dont think the missus would be too happy to see a spitfire on the back lawn when she came home from work though. :lol:

Anything where the catalogue number is missing didn't sell. The collection is a really big, welll known one from the CEO of Ryland Homes in the US, but unfortunately it didn't do quite as well as expected.

Have to admite, I would love the Willy Wonka suit...I would never take it off haha!
