Hi everyone. The 2 main passions I have in life are (after friends and family of course) Vintage Star Wars Collecting and Metal Music. My favourite metal band is One Minute Silence, they split around 7 years ago and have now reunited with a new drummer. They have now teamed up with Pledge Music to try to raise the money to do a "Live In The Studio" CD / DVD Documentary. If the target isn't reached within 60 days they may never be able to record new tracks or do a new tour!

Massy (Guitarist) explains all in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WiEhhNEc24

You can check out some of their stuff here: http://www.youtube.com/user/OneMinuteSilenceBand

Pledges can be made here: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/oneminutesilence

The minimum pledge is only £8 which includes a Download once the project has been completed and the £8 is waived if you purchase anything else. There's a load of stuff on the site, TShirts, Hoodies and lots of other Limited Editions and Signed Merch too!

Please help get One Minute Silence up and running again!

Thanks, Mike

The only song I remember is this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i146pSgZ29M

But good luck to them if they are reuniting, I remember seeing pitchshifter on the last leg of their goodbye tour, was an amazing show, can't remember who supported but I think they eventually got back together again lol

Cheers Joe, I'm off to Sonisphere tomorrow. I bought a ticket as One MInute Silence were playing their reform gig there but they had to pull out. :( Nevermind though, I'll still get to see Slayer, Metallica, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and many others too :D

I saw them support Slipknot in 1999/2000 in Wolverhampton and they were brilliant. If they weren't supporting Slipknot then I would have said they were the best thing of the night but Slipknot were simply better.

I did have their album "Buy Now..." but lost it after it was borrowed by a mate and then borrowed and borrowed!

I'll look at their site Mike :D

Thanks SilverGrin, If you make a pledge on their site and the target isnt reached then you pay nothing. The money pledged is only taken if 100% of the target is reached. If you do make a pledge could you post a comment on there too stating you read a post created by MikeStrange on Star Wars Collecting Forum. It will help the band to uderstand what advertising is working best and will help with PR in the future.

Thanks so much, Mike
