After Ryan asked for a Non Star Wars items latest acquisitions thread there was only one ting to do...

Start one...

It might be that Edd starts a Non star Wars section in the forum but until then or if that does not happen you can post here.

Hopefully this will not infringe on the 'Other collections' thread as that is for showcasing entire collections rather than just posting your newest purchase. If it does Edd, merge, delete, rename or move this thread as you see fit.

So lets get the ball rolling....

Just picked up these pieces. They will be Christmas presents for Jr Jr, he loves a bit of Vintage Space Lego...

You tufty cunts, bumping my attempts at a serious and adult like thread...

Think of Ryan for Gods sake!!!!!

This would never happen on RS

I had that lego off a car boot when I was a kid. Lego was so simple back then, and seemed to cost less!

As I asked for a non sw latest acquisitions, so I should post something Truthfully I haven't had much in the past month. But bought a few vintage doctor who dapol figures.

Sea Devil, Tetrap, Seventh Doctor and Red Dalek. The Tetraps wings are meant to be sewn on, they came loose in the packaging to be sewn on, which I think is ridiculous! I love the sea devil, with the blue outfit and the mottled paint effect he looks spot on from the series.

Excuse the terrible picture quality!

Cheers for posting Ryan.

Can't believe they expect you to stitch the wings on. I suppose its classic Dr Who thinking though. Do the best you can within the budget, the fans will take care of the rest.

Some assembly required is fine, but having to glue or sew an action figure is ridiculous! Haha.

Think I'm beating a dead horse trying to get some folks to post latest acquisitions, (though it was nice of JuniorChubb to humour me!) this is a vain last attempt to get this thread a rollin'. This is what the postie delivered today.

Again a shitty picture! But I got my hands on some vintage mutatin' Turtles figures, though Raphael broke swiftly upon opening the package, so he's not in the picture. And also a 1988 shredder who is a bitch to stand up, an undercover donatello and a sewer samurai leonardo. Really took me back to being a kid when I opened these!

They are standing on my secret santa parcel which also arrived today. :)

Those are what we wanted to see, JrJr was wondering what they looked like after you mentioned you had them in another thread..

Nice 8)

Mind they don't open up that package before Christmas

Awesome Ryan...they look great, waiting for the classic mocs to turn up and I will post them in this thread.

They're awesome, they had a few marks on them which looked like felt pen, but I managed to wipe it off with a baby wipe.

Ive not tried transforming Mike, Don and Leo into the baby turtles, after Raph broke as he was the first I tried transforming, Ive kinda been put off trying to transform the others. I didn't even force him, the shell just disintegrated in my hands. So for now they're staying untransformed. And anyways, they look much cooler as the ninja turtles instead of as baby turtles. Its the pizzas that turns into ninja stars I think are the best! Just awesome. Its the kinda gimmick you don't really get with toys now. It was okay for things to be a bit lame a few years back, but toys have to seem so serious now. Nowadays its all like "Bone smashing punching action with blades that pop out of his arsehole with light up eyes with AIDs inducing death glance". Im just happy with a pizza ninja star.

And I almost did open the SS parcel, it was only as I was about to tear into it I noticed it said secret santa! Now its just sat looking at me, wanting me to open it, even though the packaging says not until christmas. I shall hold back for now, though the temptation is there! :D

Arrived today

I know they are not vintage but v cool, love em, these are Crimble pressies for the lad :D

About £32 posted for the three, so that that was ok really.

Wish you could pick up mint mocs for SW for that ( vintage of course :D )

If only I'd known back in late 80s walking round the £ 1 shop. ROTJ mocs 2 for a pound

  he is 30  , we collect together, I introduced him To SW when ROTJ came out on Video, rented it and watched it 3 times, he has been hooked ever since

We joint collect, but I mainly stick to SW, where he collects toys of his childhood ...MOTU, turtles, THUNDERCATS, ghostbusters etc...but I have got him more inclined to SW

So they will not be ripped open
