Once again another totally inept performance last night. No Confidence in the squad. same players being played equals tired legs. The manager doesnt have the respect of the dressing room. Players being left on the bench with no match minutes. Also only 4 subs no Idea why. Their is something seriously wrong somewhere.

Is there a private battle going on between the Imps and the Mariners as to whose manager will go first? Well we may be entering the fray soon. D day if front of the cameras on Saturday

To be fair to my boys last night we absolutly hammered Altrincham but just couldnt score. We did enuff to win 5 games. Hit the post, crossbar, couple off the line but that doesnt make much difference on paper. I think the axe was being sharpened last night and if we get whooped Sat Wrexham away then it will surely be wielded.
Who ya got Saturday? I will be watching

WOW just WOW I am still buzzing!

What a fantastic result and performance and in front of the watching tv cameras too! An excellent day all round!

It was written in the stars for Hawley to score too. His best performance in an alfreton shirt by a mile!.

Paul Clayton was immense for us. No concidence IMO that after 4 games without a goal we score 4 in 1! His goal on 70 minutes was brilliant. I thought every man gave their all - without a doubt the best performance of the season! Yes ok Dawson in net didnt have his best game but he pulled off a few crucial saves to go with his blunder in the first and second halfs.

Forgot to record the bloody game on BT Sport. Does anyone if they repeat it or do they have an online catch up service?

Particulary looking forward to watching the dissallowed goal back? Have no idea why it was dissallowed?

A good win for you guys altho, in parts, i thought Torquay lost the game rather than you winning it. There were that many errors! Nevertheless it was a better watch than the Euro rubbish on offer Thinkin back now and taking into account i was half pissed and half asleep, i remember the take and volley from Clayts but the whistle was blown before he even took it down so i think he was adjudged to have been offside, which he wasnt! Be careful, the mighty mariners are sniffing around him :wink:

PS the gamesa re repeated a couple of times, usually stupid o clock in the morning when no ones watching :lol:

Home to Lincoln in the Cup Repeat of the draw in our first season in the Prem. The original tie was 1-1 and we won the replay 2-1. Both sides will feel its winnable.

Envious of you draws. Certainly something different and a huge chance for Leamington to progress.

Since our promotion to the Conference Premier in 2011/12 we have drawn, Gateshead twice (1cup.1trophy) Lincoln twice and Wrexham twice! Very repetitive.

While all you guys get a rest tonight we entertain Lincoln at home in the Lincs Senior Cup Final. Treat like a friendly but the fa rulings mean we can only field 4 youth team players and obvs not as it's a local derby, things often get feisty, especially in the stands as i think only the Findus is being opened! Will let you know how we get on....... UTM <><

Gateshead 4-0 Gainsbrough
Grimsby 3-0 Guiseley. I see former red Nathan Arnold had a great game
Alfreton 1-1 Lincoln

Draw fair result for us we were truly horrific first half. Much much better in the second,

As usual, Arnold only came on as a sub for the last 20 minutes but what an impact sub he is. Fresh legs and raw pace as you know and he's had since the start of the season without playing to build on it so looking pretty good. We never had to get out of 1st gear. Guisley were neat and tidy but never posed a threat and thats 4 games on the trot weve won now in all comps. Only downside is our best player Scotty Brown has been ruled out for a while with a broken bone in his foot, big blow but hopefully we can cope.

We will try our hardest! We seem ravaged with injures tho and may struggle to get 11 out on the pitch on Tuesday. Feels very De ja vu to 2011 tho!

It didnt look good at all at the end for Bradders. That sounds really bad! Hope he isnt out too long!

Awful draw for us but it may be inmaterial as we barely have 11 fit players for tommorrow and no GK! an outfield player will play in net! :lol:
