Anybody else interested in Nintendo's new console?

I like the idea of a combined home and portable console as I do most of my gaming on the train. I think they have made a mistake launching it with so few games though, Zelda looks great but I'm personally not spending £300 on a new console just to play one game. I'll wait til at least a Mario game is out too.

Absolutely! I didn't pre order one but might pick one up once they're back in stock.
The launch lineup is weak but something Nintendo always seems to do. :roll:
Breath of the wild is getting amazing reviews though and being touted as the best in the series since OOT. I'm not sure I'm sold on the mario trailer but we haven't had a proper one since galaxy 2 so fingers crossed.

It looks like a good system, better focused than the wii u but will really be worth it with a bunch of mates or like you say for commuting.

I probably will spend that just to play Zelda - I love it! But i might wait to see if there are any sales before splashing out

I'm keen to get one, but as it's been released post Xmas, I can see a price drop as the schools break up or if sales have been slow, mid summer. Given the games at launch (despite wanting to play Zelda!) I think a wait will be worth while.

I am tempted to buy Zelda for my Wii U, but if I do that there's no point buying the new console!

I would love to buy this but just can't justify to myself spending any time on video games these days. I do wander about Nintendo as though, every time they bring a new system out they rely on nostalgia.

Time is a very good point. Any free time I have the kids are already on the games consoles

Daughter has one and loves it. She works at Game and pretty much has every console available but thinks this one offers a unique experience with the option of big screen or portable.
Had a quick go on Zelda and loved it

I know it's stupid but I wish Nintendo would team up with Sony and release games on the PS4. There's no way I would invest in another console but some of the games look awesome. New Zelda sounds promising

1-2 switch has some very ahem interesting games that have made us laugh a lot over the weekend, quick draw seems to be the favourite mind

Got one on release date and it's frickin awesome. Zelda is straight in to my top ten all time games I've played and the Switch itself is beautifully made. Can't Wait for Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey

Mario Kart 8 is very good, we play the zelda game which is amazing, and 1-2 switch whitch is always good after a glass of wine and friends round.
If you like FPS then the splatoon demo was good also.
some of the cheaper download only games are pretty cool to.

Just bought one for Mario Kart 8.....never played the Wii U version so it's pretty good.

Not too interested in Zelda but there are a few upcoming games I'll be looking to get (Mario Oddesey and Splatoon 2)
