Although you cant see his face just before the bite I bet it looked a lot like this

He just needs to make sure he eats before a game as he is clearly ravishing when he takes to the pitch

We need to get to the tooth, jaws because he is a footballer, no excuse, get to the root of the problem, oral not have any respect for FIFA. He can't go around molar ing all and sundry,

In all seriousness ....what a poor excuse for a man and a human being...tosser.

Ban him...he can always fall back on doing Freddy Mercury tribute shows

Agreed, he may have to Brace himself for a brush with the law. Maybe someone should give him a taste of his own medicine The rest of the lads should give him a good filling in, or a good pasteing.
My son watched it on Goalmouth
I bet the recipient didn't say fangs very much.
Maybe one day he'll pic on the wrong guy, or bite off more than he can chew.

Christ this is crap.  Sorry guys, truly sorry. It's been one of those days.

Fifa have got to kick him out of World Cup football for life...

The hand ball and celebration 4 years ago shamed the game (hand ball was a bit more understandable than biting though) and this World Cup he has shamed the game on the World stage again.

Domestically ban him for a season or and remove all his teeth.

**** it, ban Uraguay too. Just like at school, punish the whole class for the actions of one...

While we are at it ban Costa Rica for punching above their weight and put England and Italy through.

Just saw on the BBC website that a Norweigian won £1600 betting that Suarez would bite someone - odds of 175-1 seemed very generous

Classic - really cheered me up after the tedium that was England

I honestly don't see why it's worse biting someone than head butting, elbowing or hitting someone. In fact the effects are probably worse with those. It's just that biting doesn't happen very often among adults that makes it stand out. There's probably something not quite right inside his head, but to call him a poor excuse for a human being seems a bit excessive.

He's said "these sort of things happen in the box"......that sounds like a perfectly fair and acceptable defence to me. So the whole thing will blow over now

If Septic Bladder thought alleged racism could be solved by a handshake I dread to think what he's going to suggest now!

Any type of violence is unacceptable in sport.

There is always going to be issues in a contact sport, but the deciding factors are malice and intent, and totally unsporting behaviour.

The thing here is this is not an isolated incident, this is a recurring issue with Suarez, and biting, then bring the racism factor in ...there. Are clearly serious issues.

If the guy did this on the streets he would be charged with assault etc, so if you step over the line on a pitch, why is that any different. FFS this was on the world stage :!: cannot be condoned and FIFA have to act to send out a message.

As a highly paid footballer in the public eye, he has a responsibility and clearly is not capable of keeping his temper in check.

I think that's very hard on Liverpool. In this case they were innocent victims. circumstances beyond their control and they are now left without their best player for 2 and a bit months of the season.
I see why they banned him from all football, he deserves the punishment, but it is harsh that Pool pay the price as well.

I fully expect him to go to Barca or Real over the summer now.

The reaction from Uruguay has been poor. Once the video had been reviewed he was a dead man walking, so to speak. They should have done the decent thing, made a statement to say his behaviour is unacceptable and sent him back home.

I don't care how gifted he is as a footballer.

He is a racist

He is a cheat

He thinks it is acceptable to bite another human being (given he has now done it 3 times). He clearly cannot control his temper.

He shows no remorse for his actions.

A despicable example of a human being. The things he has done could warrant a prison sentence, not just a suspension from work. The punishment should have been the maximum ban and fine. Three strikes and your out.
