Ok I understand you when you say you are new collecting. You seem to know alot about grading figures because of your questions. When I first started I didn't even know I could get starwars graded let alone all the different options in grading.
So I presume if you know about grading you fully understand what the guys have explained to you numerous times? And the links they provided which you said you have read.

In fact I was gone to collect u grade but you put me doubt, I understand your arguments, so then I thought why not collect the moc but the problem with bubble derange me.
So I think collect the afa 85/90 loose.
As I start from zero I do not want to mistake direction for my collection.

I noticed that afa MOCs are much more expensive than afa loose U grade.
What is the interet of removing the model from the card to grad it in U ??

With regards to original question - for me I'd go the AFA90 over the baggie. Can't see a figure properly in the baggie and not all baggie figures are "perfect". Some left the factory with tarnishes etc inside the bag.

Have to say though, I'd go for a decent loose figure as a preference anytime!

Have to agree.... I love a loose figure.

I agree as well, but you have to remember baggies are a good thing to collect if you already have a complete loose set.

I recently got my first baggies off Iain Sanderson at Celebration and I must say I would like to put together a set representing all that came as part of advertised "mail away" promos on MOCs -- so Nien, Emperor etc. Would make a nice addition to the display. Maybe not Bobafett though ...

I just received my luke poncho :D , it is in a plastic bag, then I removed it or it is better to keep it in ?
