New Vintage Photo Discovery

[Section 8]

I recently found this photo of myself at our front gate. To my surprise I noticed what I was carrying. I have no memory of i being bought for me or even owning the bag. I've never seen one for sale since nor even find an image of one on the internet but if someone has one hidden away in their collection I would be delighted to take it off their hands.

Any info on the bag appreciated as I've no idea who made it or where it came from. Will make my search for one much easier.

I think the image on the bag is this Yoda and Luke scene from ESB.

I had one like this! Mine had a pic of Jabba on though I think. This was towards the end of Star Wars being popular though - 1984-ish. I only took it to school 4 or 5 times as I got the piss taken mercilessly for it!

I had the same Jabba one Mark I remember it faded horribly, I could be wrong but I seem to remember a matching canvas pencil case

I had the same jabba bag mark in fact I have a jabba one to sell I think.
they are made by frankle roth and yes they made a couple of pencil cases
as well.

Great photo, I've been through all the family snaps and can't see any of me with anything Star Wars (though the small detail you spotted tempts me to look again)
There's one of me with my BMX and a few with Action Man in them and that's about it...

Great info. It does appear to be Frankel & Roth bag, but most on the net have the return of the jedi logo on the front indicating the era, yet this seems to just have Star Wars logo and an image from Empire. :?

Still can't find an picture of my bag on the net or forum, yet some of the similar seem to have been quite common.

It looks like im off out to play somewhere as I've got my bow and arrow in the bag. I'm sure i would have quickly got bored of carrying a bag round with me everywhere so probably used it very little which is why I don't remember owning it.
