What is it with all these sh*t CGI aliens with tentacles in the new movie :x it's like watching dodgy manga films- without the naked school girls

Tentacles have a long and honourable tradition in Star Wars.

Don't forget the trash compactor monster (yeah obviously we know it as the 'Dianoga' looking like a green fish - but in the movie all you see are tentacles), and in Jabba's dungeon C3PO gets grabbed through the bars by tentacles. And of course the Sarlaac, who even had extra tentacles added in the Special Edition!
