Cheers guys for the kind messages! I did reply earlier but think my iPad spazzed up. Do use the word 'spazzed'.

The shuttle is the 1984 variant. I bought it of eBay and was surprised when it arrived cause it had a worn, battle damaged effect painted on it which I didn't expect, but still it made it look more realistic and I'm really happy with it. I have seen a number of shuttles since on eBay with the same effect!

I'm sorry Goonio, but this is a modern FAO Schwarz Shuttle (Google it). It has the dirty effect and is dated 1984. :-(

By the way, by joining the forum you only will be spending more on vintage SW stuff, but it's always on the last thing you need (untill another comes up....)

Cheers for the info - I had been wondering what was going on!

I'm unfamiliar with Schwarz. Having just looked it up it says they we're produced in
2002 even though it says 1984 Kenner underneath (see pic).

Oddly, I'm not bothered by this. I normally would be. It simply is a stunning ship so very happy with it!

Again this site has amazed me about the wealth of information available and it truly is a great inspiration!

I've been on this forum for a few months and your collection fits in perfectly. Loose, baggies, rare, common, graded, ungraded, MISB, MIB, variations……………. It's all Star Wars and it 's all relevant.

nice collection i was nearly fooled by the 2002 imperial shuttle a while back on ebay its confusing when it has a 1984 stamp on it

Yeah it's stupidly confusing. Luckily its a stunning piece otherwise I would be furious. Thankfully didn't pay that much for it + means I can get an original version at some point to add to the collection

Well chuffed - Blue Snaggletooth has just arrived from the states and its in great condition. So technically my loose collection is complete, but, already I'm thinking about which figures need replacing etc.. it never ends..
