Debate, differing opinions, expert knowledge, this all gives an opportunity to digest the information and make an informed decision.
I don't think anyone on here would take mocs, mintys or anything and customise.
As Todd pointed out, beaters etc are fine, and some custom work that is done is awesome![]()
BTW I have a lando general no cloak or weapons but missing a thumb....( I didn't notice when I picked him up for £4  ) yours if you want him Todd![]()

No different to giving toys to the next generation of kids to play with. Keeps the interest up but there are casualties...And much cheaper than buying modern
I find it interesting how the different vintage groups value things. The vintage action man collectors actively encourage customs as unless something is rare or mint the value isn't there
Us vintage Star Wars collectors have more of a 'preservation' at all costs ethos and in my opinion the majority of loose items just don't warrant the importance we put on them.
Just my 2 cents[
Yeah I get what your saying about their being loads of loose items, but 10 years ago their was loads of MOC beaters about. For me it's absolute you can't say oh that's wrong that Prune Face has been 'U' graded and then say it's ok to start painting vintage AT-AT's. As I said before it's about values for me.8)
