It's almost a year to the day since I re-logged into collecting (having had a break since 2010; although collecting on and off since 1997 or so), so I thought I'd show some pics of what I've put together since getting back into it all.

I used to collect pre-production mainly, but decided last March to concentrate on British and French cards relating to the first 12 figures. I remember buying a Jawa back in the early 1980s in France on holiday, and love how the little square cards look, and Palitoys - well they speak for themselves, even if I can't ever remember seeing them in the shops (I was a late 1970s baby).

The Palitoys:

Close up on the DT Luke - the mintest saber I've ever seen (the inner filament came from a Kenner source, so it was completely straight and unused):

Very nice collection you have put together in a short space of time, very nice. I use those IKEA shelves as well for MOC cheap way of displaying them.

Great run. :)

It's great to see someone get back into collecting more determined, more focused and even trying something new! Great collection Max, one to be proud of!

WOW... Beautiful mate right up my street this no clutter just MINT Moc's on a shelf and I love the first 12 display that DT Luke is awesome. :D

Welcome back to the dark side..

Wow, that's some collection you've put together in the last year

Love how you've displayed the UK ones above their same French cousins, nice idea and they really look amazing displayed like that. Can't wait for next years update :D

Blimey!  8) A lovely collection of cards there! Really like the 'Euro' vibe. Displayed very nicely too.

All kinds of awesomeness right there! Great work fella, be interesting to see how this develops too, please keep updating us all :D

Wow, awesome stuff Max. You've done so well to get that many rare pieces in one year and you've displayed them beautifully. The Anglo French comparison is simply fantastic.

I wish I had that sort of room to display stuff - damn kids!

Although this collection is small in number it oozes quality.

I like the way it's really focused. In a short time you have managed to get some quality pieces out of other collections and into this one.
