I love the signed poster, BUT please get a custom made matted frame for it. If you leave it in the clipframe the signatures will end up sticking to the glass and it will ruin the poster. Ive seen it many times before and going by the amount of time and cash you put into it , it needs to be sorted bud

Cheers guys for all the kind words. It's been great fun putting it together and there are a lot of things out now that I haven't seen for a while. I still have a few bits and bobs to find homes for and I have a couple of tough trilogos coming (one tougher than the other) and a bit of shop display. Watch this space. The last print has just gone up and it's pretty big. Update to follow after farthest from.

It's a great place to chill out in. Hopefully some of you guys will get to see it in person some day.

Good spot on the clip frame. I have put all of the prints in clip frames as they are light and the walls are dot and dab plasterboard so it's a bitch to get fixings into. I use command strips to hold them up.

The frame the autos are in is made of styrene, not glass. Will this still transfer the ink. The print has been all over the place with me and you are right. It's cost a few quid and is quite a personal thing so I want to keep it good. I want it in a frame I can get it out of as I will get Warwick Davies at some point, although I don't hold out much hope for ford or James earl Jones.

What am I looking for. I only have two other autos. A Tim rose one I will frame and put under the mask and a Robert Edlund (sp) postcard that came from you via jezs marathon competition. Again, I'm after a little frame for it before it comes out.

Not a derailment. Useful advice if it saves my autographs!

Right, the styrene will adhere to the autographs over time too. Im afraid that both this and glass touching the surface of the print will damage the autographs. I know everyone here will see sellers selling toploaders at cons and shows to put your newly aquired graphs etc into, claiming they will protect them - WRONG!! This is a flawed practice if left inside. They are ok to store something in for shipping or temporary protection, but if left too long the chemicals etc used will form a bond with the ink from markers etc. You have to remember that some of these paint markers leave quite a more of a raised surface that a normal biro etc due to the viscosity / thickness of the ink. Ive seen people at shows get a photo signed and slide it straight into the toploader thinking it was dr, and it has smudged and smeared the auto/pic. Also seen people blow it dry and lift the edge of the loader up as they slide it in, but after going back to it a while later it has adhered to the plastic. Its the same for glass,styrene etc. ALWAYS use a matt/mount , tape and UV glass ( all acid free/archival) for pieces that are precious. Never, ever let your graphs touch any surface, and give a good distance ( we are talking a few mm) from coming into contact with the glass. That is a beautiful poster, and even if you have to spend £100 to get it framed, its definately worth it.

The loose cabinet now has risers (and a couple of new yodas). These are the nuts.
