Someone convince me not to buy some of the MOTU.

I'm not interested in the full range - bloody hell there are a lot of them - nor any of the playsets. But was thinking of loose complete:

He Man
Skeletor
Man at Arms
Triklops
Trap Jaw
Ram Man
and maybe one or two others.

This bit sounds fine

This bit sounds like the slippery slope

I sold my childhood MOTU collection about 10 years ago to free up storage space and fund more vintage Star Wars.

Completely regret it.

Thought about a He-Man and Skeletor MOC but the Mrs would have kittens. Actually she would go straight out the front door and come back with a dog!

Loose complete are like SW now, daft prices on ebay, but you can pick them up.

The tgere is that slippery slope, original He Man, then, " oh I like the look of that Faker He Man" then the Wonderbread version :o

My lad picked up a re release set from New York a few years back they look cool, but they are re released not vintage.

The battlecat and Castle Grayskull are vintage though

I had these as a kid, liked them a lot. My favourite one was Trap Jaw, I've been looking out for a mint complete loose one but he had a lot of accessories and I've had no joy as yet. I dare not start collecting them, could get out of hand :o

I bought about 15-16 loose complete a few years ago with a view to getting a full set. The average i paid was about a tenner for a regular complete figure and the likes of he man, skeletor, man at Arms, Beastman etc a bit more. Sold them all again and just kept He man, Skeletor, Man at Arms and Man E faces as they are most nostalgic to me. Cool figures but buggers to stand up and display.

The new faces of Money Supermarket.
Good toys but for me they were short-lived, like Transformers.

On a side note, I recently took Faker out of the box and his legs fell off.
The others seem fine though.

Pros - cool figures
Cons - difficult to display loose, cost

hmm.....

I've seen all those bend elbow ones and stuff like that. Zero interest. no idea what fake man is.

A little uncalled for...

 Couldnt resist

Loved that character

It's so obvious, it had to be done

Starting to think about getting some of these as well. Never had any as a kid, but really wanted He Man, Skeletor and Trap Jaw.

Ahhh.. another line I collected back in the day and sold on about 15 years back... oh the pain.

Trap Jaw was my favorite too, loads of add on bits. Ram Man and Orko were nicely done too.

Thanks for this thread... got me looking at them again. :?

Still got all my childhood of these including both Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain, my son loves playing with these toys.

I had about 30 of these, and my mate had some and castle greyskull so I'd just take them over to his and play.

my three favourite figures at the time were trap jaw (loved putting string through his head and slide him down the stairs) , modulok (picked him up in france on a family holiday and thunderpunch he man with caps in the back (very cool!)

I also really liked the gold fist and silver fist guys

they got given away to cousins when I grew up.

I still see the odd ones at carboots especially that rock solid ramm man

Dammit. I'm swaying towards getting these - but only the ones I remember. Stratos (?) I think is what it is called is another that should be on my list. There's a nice triklops on ebay for £13.... need to do more research so I don't make rookie SW mistakes on MOTU.

Great pictures guys I always wanted MOU but never got any. Castle Greyskull I think of all the playtime I could have had with that I would have enjoyed!

I used to have a full set, most i never had as a child like mosquitor, clamp champ, ninjor etc as i went off it when those appeared.

stick to the ones you had as a child as like others have said...its a slippery slope :)

Bought a Tri Klops from ebay and I'm not sure. It is poor condition, loose head, missing paint etc but only cost £5. They are a bitch to stand. If it was mint I may feel different.

Never had any of these either.
As previously mentioned, love the box art work, this range could be addictive.
Take care a bery slippery slope!

It'll certainly only be a dozen or so figures that I remember. Won't be keeping this one. Will try for a mint figure and see how I feel about them
