most you've ???

Ok to show you all I am not a tight bastard after all.. When I first got into collecting again I spent £700 of my £1,000 salary (hey I wasn't a rocket scientist straight out of school!!) on Star Wars toys...

I came back from work one day and I had about 10 boxes of stuff left outside the front door - stupid postman!

If I spent £700 in one month now I think I would be pushing up flowers pretty soon!

Been off the forum for over a year but I'll be back on from now.Kinda missed it in a way, :( altough I was never a guy who posted loads.
My biggest expense was one of the pieces i picked up from simon phillpotts(sure he's on this forum but can't recall his name).
A graded Palitoy 12back Leia

Good to have you back Lee. 8)

Simon AKA Darth Wensleydale, is still about although he isn't on as much as he used to be.

My most expensive purchase was my Palitoy 12 back Luke, which i picked up this year along with my Palitoy 12 back Chewbacca.
I havent bought any Star Wars since. Still looking, but not spending at the mo. Still deciding what to focus on next.

What about 8D8! He's a REALLY interesting character with lots of variations and card backs!

I can see the Joe 90 picture didn't phase you weasel, I will just have to resort to swearing..

**** OFF!!

hi weasel and grant.Yeah good to be back.
Still collecting moc but just concentrating on palitoy's as a few folk are doing at the mo.
Got a pretty nice collection going though.

I'll get some on soon weasel ,still working daft hours in a supermarket hence why no reply to your welcome back you posted this morning till tonite.
I'll post some pics but nowt nowhere near to quality of some folks collection.

No worrys about the non instant reply mate, I'm just gettin back on myself. Hardly been about for a few weeks (and Bollux loved it).

Wouldn't worry about the collection not being the same quality as other people's, it aint a competition and we don't collect to have the best colelction, we collect cos we loved the toys as kids (and I guess we still love them now).

Plus it depends what your into, if you showed me a variant that was genuinely one of a kind or a first shot etc, it wouldn't mean much to me without the history/explanation. Probably the same for some people and MOC's. Each to their own, no one is going to slag you on here and always nice to see other people's collections. Especially if they have a different focus or theme than your own.

Weasel, that's why this forum was and probably still is so cool, everyone got on and had a laugh, but it's all in good humour.
I know i won't get judged or slagged off for showing me collection, and i've aquired a few nice pieces over the last year or so so.
I'll get some pics on over the weekend.
