Canadian postage within their own country is expensive as well due to the vast distances it has to travel and insurance and tracking on top adds to an already hefty price for the service.

A lot of Canadian sellers have no control over this and sometimes mention in their auctions about high postage costs.

These are some shipping prices a respected collector quoted me recently, not as extreme but tracked is expensive!!

Small Packet Air = $9.50
XPressPost with Tracking = $65.39
