I'm the same. I swore I'd give up on collecting modern then I see all the BS in The Entertainer. Luckily I'm only after a Scariff Stormtrooper if they ever get any in.

I say not included as apparantly these were released with Rogue One waves but how come they have different packaging?

Jealous that you have Thrawn and Raddus. Ebay?

I got my R1 phasma/finn here - think it's same packaging. it's a good site, managed to complete my TFA singles there

From what I was reading tonight SAF sold out of their remaining 150 Gammy Guards in 30 minutes! I would of liked one but the cost puts me off. I know it's not SAF bumping the price up but over £30!! :shock:

I have been trying to understand why Hasbro roll out packaging from a previous line within another line wave. For example:

TRU exclusive TFA 6 pack. Released as a Multipack under Rogue One multipack group. Target exclusive Saga 7 pack is another example (but I do not have - it is a want).

Were they purely a "bridge" to Rogue One release or a deal between a toy retailer and Hasbro and one offs? Anyone know why Hasbro / Stores did this? Was it just shifting older stock under an exclusive banner?

Well Boston, Lincs HB only had Rey and Kylo black series and some hot wheels. Next door in TK Maxx there were some Hot Wheels too.

That was about it. A little pants to say the least.

That's an impressive run db94, it shows you how nice those modern boxes look and it's great to see them against the originals. Maybe you could split displaying them into two lots and put out half the originals against their modern counterparts out for a while and then swap them over. I only have limited space so need to rotate things every now and then but it's nice to have a change around and keeps things fresh on display.

What a great collection of ships and creatures you have.
I've never seen those Vintage collection ones before as I've only been collecting again for the last two years and only collect vintage.
I love the vibrant colours of the VC, and my don't they command a good price; the Tauntan VC can be more expensive that a vintage one on eBay!
As has already been mentioned they would look great displayed VC beside vintage, would like to see pictures of whatever you chose to do.
