A relatively rare occurrence in my collecting time but was interested to know how u guys feel about it
Would it put u off buying a MOC if the footer was out of position?
How bout if it was a rare MOC U were after?
Would u attempt to try and get the footer back into position :?: :?

What's ur feelings fellow collectors??

I saw a card like that on the web recently. Not sure shaking would have achieved much in that example. You could pinhole behind the figure to wiggle it back but that damages the card, so not ideal. Tricky.

there's a tutorial somewhere which shows how to do it with a bent piece of cardboard. Damned if I can find it though :(

Yeah this is annoying I have 2 leia organas moc that this has happened to. The 12 back I think was a bit cheaper because of this. I've tried to get it back but seems impossible. Not as annoying as the At-At driver on a Trilogo card tho, sent it to AFA and it came back with the figure facing the wrong way around! Again seems impossible to get back to how it was. :(

cant believe you guys don't read my tutorial....

This is really easy to fix without frustation or risk to damage your moc if you follow my easy steps.
You know 12 back Leia's are very prone to this as the have space enough in the bubble to move up enough to have the footer dislocated.

Anyway, the positive is, that you probably can buy these moc's cheaper because of the footer beeing out off place and then fix it yourself in 2 minutes.

Have a go at it, you'll see how easy it is.

Also i believe this can be fixed, but there is a risk since your moc is in an AFA case allready.
Have you ever seen the trick with the dices they turn around in a small box? its a certain way off making a shake, that makes the dices flip over in a very narrow space, i am sure that how your at at driver turned over, and that is the key trick to turn it back.
But like i said, since it's in the AFA case, you risk of getting the bubble damaged or ripped off since you can't hold it to protect it.

Yeah thanks, but my Leia's also in AFA case. I think the AT-AT driver turned around when it was in transit. Possibly when the air pressure changed expanding the bubble slightly?

Not even your tutorial Stargeezer can fix this:

The footer on that yoda surely can be fixed, it might request some more patience and trying different angles.
Someone even fixed a yoda using my tutorial, sadly that pictures is not visible in the thread anymore.

I even flipped a footer around in a bubble (it was a resealed Card and They had put the footer in upside down) so what i Did was bring it in front off the figure, turned it in length, flipped it between the figures legs, turn it again and flipped it back under her feet.

I'll be impressed if it works on an AFA MOC. can't see how you can get the card through the slit in the bottom of the case?
:? :? Cool thread tho :)

No i tried On an AFA moc it would be impossible. But On a ungraded moc, i the footer had enough space to move out of position, there should be enough space to get it Back into position.
