Hi all,

With the recent sale of the rare Palitoy Boba Fett at Vectis and the mention of there only being four or five MOC examples in existence it got me thinking about what is the known population of rare MOC Star Wars figures?

I would love to know what the top five or ten rarest known MOCs are. :)

There's a thread on here somewhere with all the rarest MOCs by character.

If not just go on the AFA population report, that's the bible apparently.

I've checked AFA and apparently their population report page is down :(

Doesn't surprise me, there's defo a thread on here somewhere will try and find it.

Was only joking about AFA being the bible.

The AFA population report would be interesting but then again it obviously only counts those figures that have been graded by them. There are plenty of rare ungraded figures out there as for example the Palitoy Fett. I wonder if the new owner will get it AFA graded? :)

Mad if they do, sending it across would be risky.

Then again they could probably afford a seat in first class and escort it across.

There ar emultiple Mocs with only 1 or 2 known examples, but mostly they are foreign mocs.

A bootleg everyone knows is a MOC UZAY Headman, 2 known examples.
I think the Clipper Vader has also only 2 or 3 known examples.
The Spanish ESB "Luke Caminacielos" is also one of a kind...

Many examples can be added here.

Don't think I've ever known it to be up and working properly. Waste of time IMO

I second that, it hasn't worked for at least the last 5 years.

Very poor service.

Which Luke is that one? Can't find it on a web search.

AFAs pop report access has been ****ed for ages :!: They keep saying they r working to fix it but have been saying it for well over a year or two :!:
If I want a report on a MOC I mail them directly.

Of course, AFA will only give you reports of AFA graded right?

So any figure not graded by them will not be counted in a report.

The best we can really do with any figure is refer to numbers as publically known. Even that's not that easy

So for the Fett for example it would be maybe around 6 publically known. Not sure we can ever be more definite than that unless with we have production numbers and all cardbacks/MOC accounted for.

Indeed and many may imply a particular MOC is v rare because there are only x amount graded where in reality there r many many more in existence ungraded :!:
