I've just bought a skateboard
Sorry supergoose but that did make me laugh.
Ah that doesn't sound fun! The plan is just to cruise around and not try anything too fancy or dangerous but as you say once the confidence kicks in I'm sure that will be out the window
Funny you should mention your first deck, I've been trying to remember which ones I had over the years too, but this was my first for my birthday in 1990. The original is long gone (gave it to a friend from memory) but by chance I stumbed across the reissue when it came out in 2012 and had to grab one. I rode it a few times then but couldn't get on with the shape of it, so I just keep it as a momento now. I'm getting on better with the more modern shape of the Alien Workshop one, but that was a bit of a nostalgia purchase too, I remember seeing that design in skate shops back in the mid 90s.
Anyone started anything random that might fall under the title?
I recently pulled my rugby boots back on to play a few matches.

Awesome Carl, but on a different note. I've not started anything new, but I did try & jump my mates hedge the other night, like we both used to as children. Just imagine running at full belt taking off into the air & one of your legs decides to stay on the ground, OUCH is not the word I'd use.Lol mate no worries - I can laugh about it now![]()

Oh, the good old days. I hate time & getting old. The neighbour asked me "are you hurt", I replied "just my pride"
